On Dec. 23, North Haven wrestling traveled to Wilton to compete in a match that also included New Canaan and Stamford. Going head-to-head with New Canaan, the Nighthawks fell 48-30. Wins for North Haven came from Matthew Kauhl at 157 pounds by pin (2:25), Elijah Ellis at 175 pounds by pin (1:28), and Christian Demaio by pin (0:22) in the 190-pound bout. Tyler Dimauro recorded a victory by pin at 0:18 of the 215-pound matchup, and Joseph Carbone Jr. (285 pounds) won by pin at 2:15.
Facing Wilton, the Nighthawks fell 46-36. Anthony Purchio earned a victory at 113 pounds by pin, and Ashton Manaccio earned a win by pin at 120 pounds. Jace Iamunno (150 pounds) won by pin at 5:27, and Luke Asbury participated in the 157-pound dual, winning by pin at 1:02. Dimauro earned a victory in the 190-pound bout by pin.
