Although baseball season came to a close, Austin Rhodes was named First Team All-SCC for his efforts this season, and Sean Cleary was named to the Second Team.
Girls’ Tennis
On May 21, Branford girls’ tennis played in the quarterfinals of the SCC tournament and took a 6-1 loss to Daniel Hand. All-Conference athletes included Peyton Gaudreau (singles), Evie Kaiser (doubles) and Scout Engstrom (doubles).
Softball
Branford’s Paige Kelly was awarded Second Team All-SCC honors for her efforts on the softball pitch this spring.
Boys’ Lacrosse
Attackman Sean Bosworth was named All-SCC for Division II after a strong spring on the lacrosse field.
Boys’ Tennis
Branford boys’ tennis took a quarterfinal round loss in the SCC tournament. On May 19, they traveled to Fairfield Prep and took a 7-0 defeat. Singles player Mathias Schalper was named All-Conference for Tier 2/3 for the season, as were the doubles players of Nirvan Paudyal and Matt Law.
