Branford Red Stays Hot in Parks and Rec’s Adult Basketball League

In the second week of the season for the Branford Parks and Recreation’s Adult Spring Basketball League, Branford White defeated Branford Black by a score of 76-48. Michael Lopes collected 17 of his game-high 28 points in the first half of play, while teammate JD Shaw added 11 points to help lead Branford White to the victory. Lyman Depriest, Cameron Garfield and Ryan Wells led the way for Branford Black with nine points each.

Branford Red took down Branford Blue by a score of 86-55. Justin White sank eight 3-pointers en route to his game-high

39 points. Teammate Restinel Lomotey chipped in with 15 points of his own in the win to keep Branford Red undefeated. Ryan Adinolfi led the way for Branford Blue with 16 points, nine of which came in the second half of play.

Currently, Branford Red leads the standings with a record of 2-0. Branford Blue and Branford White are both 1-1, and Branford Black is in fourth place with an 0-2 record.
