05/01/2023 03:01 PMThe Branford Parks and Recreation Adult Spring Basketball League tipped off its season on April 24. Sporting a variety of talent across several different squads, the league is excited to be back in action.
The four teams in the league are Branford Blue, Branford Red, Branford Black and Branford White. In the first game of the season, Branford Red defeated Branford White by a score of 52-40, and Branford Blue defeated Branford Black by a score of 51-28.
Restinel Lomotey (Branford Red) leads all scorers with 16 points, followed by Justin White (Branford Red) with 14 points. Patrick Olson (Branford Red) and Kurt Warner (Branford Blue) have each recorded 12 points. Three athletes all scored 11 points, including Adam Pahlsson and and JD Shaw (Branford White) and Adam Greenberg (Branford Blue). Finally, the leeading scorers list includes Cody Scanlan (Branford White), Edward Preiss (Branford White) and Joseph Ball (Branford Blue) all with nine points each.
For the Branford Black team, Jeff Allen and Timothy McCarthy lead in points with eight apiece.
The full roster for the Branford Red team includes Restinel Lomotey, Walatsebi Lomotey, Taylor Sullivan, Justin White, Patrick Olson, Thomas Melfi, Bob Warner, and Ivan Suroutsev.
The full roster for the Branford White team includes Adam Pahlsson, JD Shaw, Cody Scanlan, Edward Preiss, Eric Doing, Federico Sotomayor, Nick Marr, and Michael Lopes.
The full roster for the Branford Blue team includes Ryan Adinolfi, David McDonald, Adam Greenberg, Paul D’Angelo, Joseph Ball, Brenden Veroneau, Kurt Warner, and Tyler Gordon.
The full roster for the Branford Black Team includes Jeff Allen, Lyman DePriest, Mitch Szyndiar, Christopher DeFrancesco, Timothy McCarthy, Cameron Garfield, Jayden Sullivan, and Ryan Wells.
