North Branford Baseball, Softball Record Two Wins Each


Baseball

T-birds baseball ended the week on a high note, recording two wins after taking an early week loss. The team traveled to East Haven on April 17 for a 6-1 loss. They bounced back the next day, April 18, taking a 13-7 victory on the road over Coginchaug. On April 20, they returned home to host Old Lyme in a 5-0 win. The team is now 6-3 for the season.

Softball

T-birds softball continued it strong season, recording its eighth consecutive victory. The team traveled to Portland on April 17 for a resounding 18-0 victory. On April 18, they returned home to host Coginchaug, taking a 4-0 win. The team is 8-0.

Boys’ Lacrosse

Boys’ lacrosse traveled to Clinton to take on Morgan on April 20. The team posted a narrow 9-8 victory to bring their season record to 5-2.

Boys’ Tennis

The East Haven co-op boys’ tennis team had a tough week, recording three consecutive losses. The team hosted Lyman Hall on April 18 and fell 0-7. They hit the road on April 19 to visit North Haven in another 0-7 loss. They returned home on April 21 to host Foran, falling in a 0-7 loss. The team is 2-9 on the season.

Girls’ Tennis

Girls’ tennis continued its tough season, recording two more losses. The team hosted Valley Regional on April 19, falling 6-1. On April 20, they traveled to East Hampton in a 4-3 loss. They are now 0-7 for the season.

Girls’ Lacrosse

Girls’ lacrosse picked up a win at home last week, hosting Morgan in a 12-8 victory. The team improved to 4-1 for the season.
