Clinton Athletic Hall of Fame Inducts Inaugural Class of All-Time Greats


The Clinton Athletic Hall of Fame inducted its inaugural class on Oct. 22. The Clinton Athletic Hall of Fame recently inducted the members of its inaugural class. The induction ceremony was held at the Clinton Country Club on Oct. 22.

The members of the Clinton Athletic Hall of Fame’s Class of 2022 include Bob “Guz” Aguzzi, coached baseball at Morgan; Lisa Barbaro, who played volleyball, basketball, and softball at the school before graduating in 1997; Robert Brigockas, who served as Morgan’s Athletic Director and also coached football at the school; Ken Crawford, a 1980 graduate who played baseball and football at Morgan; and Kerry Deshefy Tucker, who played volleyball and basketball for the Huskies before graduating in 1998.

The inaugural induction class also featured Norm Drew, a former basketball coach at Morgan; Jeff Farmer, a 2001 graduate who played basketball for Morgan; Angie Gibbons Smith, who played for the boys’ soccer team and also participated in track and field before graduating in 1987; Jason Grabowski, a member of the Class of 1994 who played basketball and baseball; Joe Grippo, who was a longtime volleyball and basketball coach for the Huskies; and Greg Novarro, a 1988 graduate who played football at Morgan.

The other inductees are Jim Scott, who was inducted as an exemplary contributor for his involvement with Little League in Clinton; Ron Stopkoski, a 1990 Morgan graduate who competed in football and track and field; Harry Swaun, who was inducted as an exemplary contributor for his participation in Little League baseball; and Amy Trueblood, who played volleyball, basketball, and softball for the Huskies before graduating in 1995.
