Several Tigers Run in CIAC Steeplechase

Six members of the Hand boys’ outdoor track team competed in the CIAC Steeplechase Championships that took place at Manchester High School on June 12.

For the 3,000-meter steeplechase, Dante Zucconi finished in 14th place for Hand by running a time of 10 minutes and 48.18 seconds. Connor Parthasarthy came in 25th place with a time of 11:05.17.

In the 2,000-meter steeplechase, Joshua Delahunt placed 42nd by clocking in at 7:53.58 for the Tigers. Isaac Lerner finished 46th (7:59.07), Sam Hauser finished 48th (7:59.77), and John O’Keefe came in 52nd place (8:07.32).
