Guilford High School Athletics Holds 2017 Hall of Fame Ceremony

The 2017 Guilford High School Athletics Hall of Fame induction ceremony took place at Woodwinds in Branford on June 11. This year’s inductees were Catie Canetti, a Class of 1996 graduate who played field hockey, basketball, and softball for the Indians; Joe McKnight, who competed in cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track before graduating in 1997; Kitty Palmer, who has been Guilford’s field hockey head coach since 1982; Matt Renola, a member of the Class of 1987 who played soccer and ice hockey; and Megan Rooney-Borelli, who graduated in 1999 after having played soccer, basketball, and softball at the high school.
