St. George Church held their Italian Festival 2019 this past weekend behind the church. The event celebrates Italian Culture while raising money for the Guilford Community Fund.

ChesterþÄôs Main Street was closed off for the popular  Sunday Farmers Market with fresh local produce, flowers, meats, seafood, breads, mushrooms, music, as well as clothing an art for sale. The market runs through October 13th every Sunday from 10am to 1 pm. Dana Takaki and Bruce Thorndike entertain at the Farmers Market.

The East Haven Hagaman Library celebrated their summer reading grand finale with Jester Jim Thursday August 8th.  With nothing more than a trunk full of props, Jester Jim had the group laughing in their seats with his juggling, balancing, and beatboxing. The show was packed with fun and excitement for all.

Spotlight Stage Productions debuted its first Mainstage  Production of FAME: The Musical from Thursday, July 25th through Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the North Haven Middle School. ItþÄôs about the struggles a group of ambitious students face while attending the New York High School of Performing Arts. The production was sponsored by Nutmeg State Financial Credit Union.
