Oct. 13 to 19

The Guilford Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Thursday, Oct. 13

• A 60-year-old man of the 400 block of Durham Road was arrested at 12:01 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct, assault in the third degree on a person aged 60 or older or who is pregnant or handicapped, threatening in the second degree, and strangulation in the third degree.

• Suspicious activity was reported by a resident of 125 Michael Drive at 9:19 a.m. The complainant stated that a delivery person asked many personal questions while delivering a package the day before, on Oct. 12.

• A complaint about attempted fraud via computer was reported by a resident of 401 Soundview Road at 10:36 a.m.

• The theft of a motor vehicle was reported at 1100 Village Walk at 11:35 a.m.

• A complaint about fraud was reported by a resident of 32 Quidnet Court at 2:07 p.m.

• A domestic dispute was investigated at 4:11 p.m. Police redacted the location for privacy concerns.

Friday, Oct. 14

No arrests were made.

• A complaint about fraud via an ATM machine was reported by a resident of 111 Deepwood Drive at 8:52 a.m.

• The theft of a motor vehicle was investigated at 1001 Boston Post Road at 9:05 a.m. The vehicle was last seen by Clinton police on Interstate 95 southbound at Exit 55.

• A domestic dispute was investigated at 12:55 p.m. Police redacted the location for privacy concerns.

Saturday, Oct. 15

No arrests were made.

• Neighbor trouble was investigated on the 500 block of Tanner Marsh Road at 11:21 p.m. A neighbor emptied pool water into the complainant’s yard.

Sunday, Oct. 16

• A 70-year-old woman of Richard Road was arrested at 5:37 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.

Monday, Oct. 17

• A 26-year-old New Haven woman was arrested at 12:45 a.m. and charged with criminal mischief in the second degree.

• A 38-year-old East Haven woman was arrested at 1:36 p.m. and charged with larceny in the third degree.

• A 46-year-old woman of Orcutt Drive was arrested at 7:15 p.m. and charged with threatening in the second degree and violation of a protective order. She was processed on a $5,000 surety bond.

• A complaint about fraud was reported by a resident of 10 Village Victoria Drive at 10:40 a.m.

• A complaint about fraud was reported by a resident of 37 Lovers Lane at 11:44 a.m.

• A complaint about credit card fraud was reported by a resident of 472 Nortontown Road at 2:52 p.m.

• A complaint about credit card fraud was reported by a resident of 127 Dohm Avenue at 5:10 p.m. The complainant received a credit card he did not order.

• A domestic dispute was investigated at 7:03 p.m. Police redacted the location for privacy concerns.

Tuesday, Oct. 18

No arrests were made.

Wednesday, Oct. 19

• A 28-year-old New Haven man was arrested at 11:57 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and assault in the third degree.

• A complaint about fraud was reported by a resident of 96 Boston Post Road at 11:43 p.m. A credit card was opened in the complainant’s name.

• A domestic dispute was investigated at 11:50 a.m. Police redacted the location for privacy concerns.
