Sept. 28 to Oct. 11

The East Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Wednesday, Sept. 28

• A 24-year-old Bethany woman was arrested at 12:38 p.m. and charged with violation of probation. She was processed on a $30,000 surety bond.

Thursday, Sept. 29

• A 30-year-old man of a Gordon Street apartment was arrested at 1:14 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, and failure to renew registration.

• A 33-year-old Hew Haven man was arrested at 5 a.m. and charged with possession of a controlled substance (repeat offender for this charge), sale of a narcotic substance, and operation of s drug factory. He was processed on a $20,000 surety bond.

Friday, Sept. 30

• A 45-year-old New Britain man was arrested at 1:30 a.m. and charged with larceny in the third degree, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension. While in custody he was also charged with violation of probation, two counts of failure to appear in the second degree, and three counts of failure to appear in the third degree on the strength of warrant. He was processed on a $60,000 surety bond.

• A 35-year-old man of Angela Drive was arrested at 5:15 p.m. and charged with criminal trespass in the first degree, criminal mischief in the third degree, disorderly conduct, threatening in the second degree, and three counts of violation of a protective order. He was processed on a $50,000 surety bond.

• A 43-year-old Branford man was arrested at 7:55 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway.

Saturday, Oct. 1

• A 36-year-old Waterbury woman was arrested at 4:53 a.m. on the strength of a warrant charging her with failure to appear in the second degree. She was processed on a $100,000 surety bond.

• A 33-year-old Hamden man was arrested at 1:37 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and assault in the third degree.

• A 27-year-old New Haven man was arrested at 7:20 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.

• A 26-year-old Orange woman was arrested at 7:20 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.

• A 62-year-old man of Wildwood Drive was arrested at 8:43 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension.

Sunday, Oct. 2

• A 40-year-old man of Landing Place was arrested at 12:46 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• A 29-year-old Branford woman was arrested at 2:10 a.m. and charged with assault in the third degree, disorderly conduct, and risk of injury to a minor.

• A 32-year-old man of Hemingway Avenue was arrested at 3:18 a.m. and charged with risk of injury to a minor, disorderly conduct, and assault in the third degree.

Monday, Oct. 3 - Tuesday, Oct. 4

No arrests were made.

Wednesday, Oct. 5

• An 18-year-old Hamden man was arrested at 1:15 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree, threatening in the second degree, and interfering with an officer/resisting arrest. While in custody he was charged with failure to appear in the second degree on the strength of an outstanding warrant.

Thursday, Oct. 6

• A 22-year-old woman of Dyer Street was arrested at 12:01 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct following an incident at 90 Gerrish Avenue.

• A 19-year-old New Haven man was arrested at 9 a.m. and charged with criminal mischief in the second degree, disorderly conduct, strangulation in the second degree, and assault in the third degree on a person aged 60 or older or who is pregnant or handicapped.

• A 50-year-old New Haven man was arrested at 10:45 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway. While in custody he was also charged with multiple counts of failure to appear in the first degree and failure to appear in the second degree on the strength of an outstanding warrant.

• A 36-year-old New Haven man was arrested at 12:48 p.m. and charged with criminal trespass in the second degree and breach of peace in the second degree.

Friday, Oct. 7

• A 69-year-old man of Clark Avenue was arrested at 6:46 a.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.

• A 40-year-old Rocky Hill man was arrested at 4 p.m. and charged with harassment in the second degree and seven counts of violation of a protective order. He was processed on a $25,000 surety bond.

• A 50-year-old man of a Thompson Street apartment was arrested at 6:22 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.

• A 36-year-old man of Edward Street was arrested at 6:22 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.

• A 36-year-old man was Massachusetts Avenue was arrested at 9:29 p.m. and charged with harassment in the second degree and criminal violation of a restraining order.

Saturday, Oct. 8 - Sunday, Oct. 9

No arrests were made.

Monday, Oct. 10

• A 48-year-old Guilford woman was arrested at 4:48 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• A 40-year-old man of George Street was arrested at 7:19 p.m. and charged with two counts of violation of probation.

Tuesday, Oct. 11

No arrests were made.
