Sept. 21 to 27

The East Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Wednesday, Sept. 21

• A 64-year-old New Haven man was arrested at 11:29 a.m. on the strength of a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.

• A 34-year-old homeless woman was arrested at 3:40 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and assault in the third degree on a person aged 60 or older, handicapped, or pregnant following an investigation on Messina Drive.

Thursday, Sept. 22

• A 58-year-old man of unrecorded address was arrested at 9:00 a.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree, robbery in the third degree, and breach of peace in the second degree.

• A 36-year-old man of Leigh Drive was arrested at 11:23 a.m. and charged with possession of a controlled substance, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, and improper use of marker plate, driver’s license, or registration, following a motor vehicle stop on Foxon Hill Road at Charnes Drive.

Friday, Sept. 23

No arrests were made.

Saturday, Sept 24

• A 36-year-old man of an Old Foxon Road apartment was arrested at 7:41 p.m. and charged with criminal mischief in the third degree, breach of peace in the second degree, assault in the second degree, and threatening in the second degree.

Sunday, Sept. 25

• A 19-year-old man of a High Street apartment was arrested at 1:45 a.m. and charged with assault and a third degree, risk of injury to a minor, and disorderly conduct, following an investigation on Hemingway Avenue. He was processed on a $5,000 surety bond.

Monday, Sept. 26

• A 47-year-old man of Bradley Street was arrested at 9:24 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and two counts of assault in the third degree. He was processed on a $25,000 surety bond.

Tuesday, Sept. 27

• A 31-year-old New Haven man was arrested at 5:07 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree, criminal impersonation, and interfering with an officer/resisting arrest. While in custody he was also charged with two counts of failure to appear in the second degree on the strength of an outstanding warrant.

• A 41-year-old man of Sorrento Avenue was arrested at 6:54 p.m. and charged with larceny in the third degree and robbery in the second degree. He was processed on a $75,000 surety bond.
