Aug. 24 to 30

The East Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Wednesday, Aug. 24

• A 35-year-old man of a Main Street apartment was arrested at 5 a.m. and charged with criminal mischief in the third degree, disorderly conduct, and threatening in the second degree.

• A 39-year-old North Haven woman was arrested at 9 a.m. and charged with criminal impersonation, interfering with an officer/resisting arrest, and use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

• A 38-year-old man of Minor Road was arrested at 9 p.m. and charged with two counts of violation of probation. In the same incident, an 18-year-old man of the same residence was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

Thursday, Aug. 25

• A 19-year-old New Haven man was arrested at 1:53 a.m. and charged with violation of pistol permit requirements, illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, possession of a controlled substance, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license, improper use of marker plate, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

• An 18-year-old man of a Russo Avenue apartment was arrested at 2:20 a.m. and charged with violation of pistol permit requirements and illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle.

• A 24-year-old New Haven man was arrested at 3:33 p.m. and charged with reckless endangerment in the first degree, stealing a firearm, interfering with an officer/resisting arrest, carrying a pistol without a permit, illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, illegal selling or manufacture of cannabis, and operating a motor with tinted windows without DMV approval. He was processed on a $100,000 surety bond.

• A 45-year-old New Haven man was arrested at 3:37 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree, two counts of larceny in the fourth degree, and two counts of larceny in the fifth degree.

• A 24 New Haven woman was arrested at 7:33 p.m. on the strength of a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.

Friday, Aug. 26

• A 60-year-old West Haven man was arrested at 4:57 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree and use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

• A 42-year-old New Haven man was arrested at 8:34 p.m. and charged with criminal trespass in the first degree, disorderly conduct, and violation of a protective order.

• A 28-year-old North Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 6:30 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance and unsafe backing.

Saturday, Aug. 27

• A 29-year-old man of Oregon Avenue was arrested at 11:06 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.

Sunday, Aug. 28

• A 41-year-old North Haven man was arrested at 1 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree and assault in the third degree.

Monday, Aug. 29

• A 35-year-old man of Dell Drive was arrested at 10:20 a.m. on the strength of a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.

• A 46-year-old woman of Henry Street was arrested at 6:14 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.

Tuesday, Aug. 30

No arrests were made.
