July 27 to Aug. 2

The North Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Wednesday, July 27

No arrests were made.

• A 23 year-old Bridgeport woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 3:32 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, failure to renew registration, improper use of marker plate or registration, and unsafe passing on the left side.

• A 22 year-old Bridgeport man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 6:20 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident in which there was property damage or bodily injury), failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart, and failure to obey a traffic control signal.

Thursday, July 28

• A 59 year-old New Haven woman was arrested at 12:15 p.m. on the strength of a warrant charging her with failure to appear in the second degree.

• A 32 year-old Torrington woman was arrested at 10:17 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.

• A 43 year-old man of a State Street apartment was arrested at 10:17 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.

Friday, July 29 - Saturday, July 30

No arrests were made.

Sunday, July 31

• A 22 year-old West Haven man was arrested at 2 a.m. and charged with larceny in the third degree and interfering with an officer/resisting arrest.

Monday, Aug. 1

No arrests were made.

Tuesday, Aug. 2

• A 43 year-old man of Davis Drive was arrested at 1 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and violation of a protective order.

• A 43 year-old man of Livingston Drive was arrested at 5:22 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart resulting in a collision.

• A 24 year-old Bridgeport woman was arrested at 9:28 p.m. and charged with criminal mischief in the second degree.

From July 27 to Aug. 2 North Haven police issued four citations to motorists for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, two citations for failure to renew registration, one citation for improper passing, and one citation for traveling unreasonably fast.
