Clinton
Wednesday, Feb. 24
• A 29 year-old man of a Cedar Island Road was arrested at 10:08 p.m. and charged with engaging police in pursuit, reckless driving, disobeying the signal of an officer, and operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension.
• A 30 year-old man of Pratt Road was issued a misdemeanor summons at 4:14 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
• A 32 year-old man of Cow Hill Road was issued a misdemeanor summons at 11:55 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident in which there was property damage or bodily injury), operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway.
Thursday, Feb. 25
No arrests were made.
• A 48 year-old Bridgeport man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 6:09 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and possession of less than 1/2 ounce of cannabis.
• A theft was investigated at 19 Brush Hill Road at 3:50 p.m.
• A burglary was investigated at 34 Riverside Drive at 3:54 p.m.
Friday, Feb. 26
• A 46 year-old Westbrook man was arrested at 6:30 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree, three counts of criminal attempt to commit burglary in the third degree, and possession of a controlled substance or greater than 1/2 ounce of cannabis.
• Shoplifting was investigated at 215 East Main Street at 7:09 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 27
No arrests were made.
• A 27 year-old Old Saybrook Road was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9:51 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway.
• A theft was investigated at 15 Stanton Road at 4:23 p.m.
• A theft from a vehicle was investigated at 346 East Main Street at 8:22 p.m.

Monday, March 1

• A larceny was investigated at 17 Country Village Lane at 4 p.m.
• Harassment was investigated on the 100 block of Glenwood Road at 10:59 p.m.

• A 29 year-old Higganum man was arrested at 10 p.m. and charged with reckless driving, reckless endangerment in the second degree, and disorderly conduct.

• A 29 year-old man of Springfield, Massachusetts was arrested at 6:09 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway.

Wednesday, Feb. 24
• A 38 year-old Willimantic man was arrested at 9 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, drinking while driving, traveling unreasonably fast, failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway, and failure to use direction signals following a motor vehicle stop on Boston Post Road.
• A 25 year-old Niantic man was issued a citation at 2:20 p.m. for failure to obey a stop sign on Old Boston Post Road.

No arrest A 24 year-old woman of Meadow Road in Clinton was issued a citation at 8:11 p.m. for operating an unregistered motor vehicle following a motor vehicle stop on Old Boston Post Road.
Friday, Feb. 26
• A 48 year-old New London man was arrested at 1:35 a.m. and charged with criminal trespass in the third degree, criminal mischief in the second degree, and four counts of larceny in the fifth degree following an investigation on Boston Post Road. He was processed on a $75,000 surety bond.
• A 43 year-old man of Briarcliff Trail was arrested at 10:49 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct, assault in the third degree, and interfering with an emergency call.
• A 34 year-old woman of Maplewood Street was arrested at 4:56 p.m. and charged with use of a restricted substance.
• A 42 year-old Vernon man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 10:22 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and failure to obey state traffic commission signs following a motor vehicle stop on Boston Post Road.

• A 27 year-old New Britain woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 12:32 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and improper use of marker plate.

• A 64 year-old Westbrook man was arrested at 4:53 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and reckless driving.

• A 30 year-old man of Holyoke, Massachusetts was issued a citation at 8:43 p.m. for failure to wear a seat belt in the front seat following a motor vehicle stop on Main Street.
• A 27 year-old woman of Essex Road was issued a citation at 8:49 p.m. for operating an unregistered motor vehicle following a motor vehicle stop on Main Street.
