Police Incident Report for Jan. 6 to 12


The North Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Wednesday, Jan. 6

• A 27 year-old East Haven woman was arrested at 11:13 a.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree, reckless driving, and disobeying the signal of an officer.

• A 40 year-old New Haven woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 10:52 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, and failure to renew registration.

Thursday, Jan. 7

• A 27 year-old Milford man was arrested at 2:23 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree and possession of use of drug paraphernalia. While in custody he was also charged with failure to appear in the second degree on the strength of an outstanding warrant.

Friday, Jan. 8

No arrests were made.

• A 30 year-old Wallingford man was issued a citation at 12:06 p.m. for failure to obey a stop sign.

Saturday, Jan. 9

No arrests were made.

• A 23 year-old man of Southbridge, Massachusetts was issued a citation at 1:06 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while using a hand-held cell phone.

Sunday, Jan. 10

No arrests were made.

Monday, Jan. 11

• A 56 year-old man of Surrey Drive was arrested at 7:29 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.

• A 39 year-old New Haven man was issued a citation at 7:59 p.m. for failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart.

Tuesday, Jan. 12

• A 25 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 1:34 p.m. and charged with larceny in the first degree and conspiracy to commit larceny in the first degree.

• A 44 year-old Hamden man was issued a citation at 12:30 a.m. for failure to wear a seat belt in the front seat.
