Police Incident Report for Nov. 11 to 24


The North Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Wednesday, Nov. 11

• A 39 year-old East Haven man was arrested at 12:30 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.

• A 70 year-old Middletown man was arrested at 1:57 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.

• A 22 year-old New Britain woman was arrested at 7:02 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.

Thursday, Nov. 12

No arrests were made.

Friday, Nov. 13

• A 37 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 9:30 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.

Saturday, Nov. 14 to Sunday, Nov. 15

No arrests were made.

Monday, Nov. 16

No arrests were made.

• A 43 year-old Hamden man was issued a citation at 3:54 p.m. for failure to grant right of way at an intersection.

Tuesday, Nov. 17

No arrests were made.

• A 41 year-old Milford man was issued a citation at 8:41 p.m. for creating a public disturbance.

Wednesday, Nov. 18 to Friday, Nov. 20

No arrests were made.

Saturday, Nov. 21

• A 21 year-old man of Ansonia Drive was arrested at 11:41 a.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.

Sunday, Nov. 22

• A 33 year-old man of Mount Carmel Avenue was arrested at 1:26 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and two counts of risk of injury to a minor.

Monday, Nov. 23

• A 35 year-old woman of Hansen Farm Road was arrested at 4:30 p.m. and charged with interfering with an officer/resisting arrest and filing a false incident in the second degree.

• A 32 year-old Torrington man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 6:10 p.m. for evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident in which there was property damage or bodily injury).

• A 53 year-old woman of Cedar Avenue was issued a citation at 9:32 a.m. for possession of a vicious/barking dog.

Tuesday, Nov. 24

• A 62 year-old man of Main Street was arrested at 10 a.m. and charged with larceny in the fifth degree.

From Nov. 18 to 24 North Haven police issued one citation for each motor vehicle violations: failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart, failure to grant right of way, operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license, and failure to obey a control signal.
