Thursday, Sept. 24

• A complaint about fraud by check was investigated at 2538 Long Hill Road at 10:32 a.m.
• Criminal trespass was investigated on Shell Beach Road at 7:40 p.m. Vehicles were observed parked at Shell Beach. The juveniles were located inside the park. They were informed that the park closes at sunset. Their parents were advised.
• A domestic dispute was investigated at 11:25 p.m. The location was redacted by police for privacy concerns.
Friday, Sept. 25
• A 39 year-old New Haven woman was arrested at 10 a.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree, criminal attempt to commit larceny in the third degree, forgery in the third degree, and conspiracy to commit forgery in the third degree.
• A larceny was investigated at 438 Peddlers Road at 5:51 p.m. A political sign was reported stolen from the lawn.
Saturday, Sept. 26
No arrests were made.
• A complaint about fraud via computer was investigated at 12:10 p.m.
• A complaint about a man operating a motorcycle with a young child onboard, about six years old and without a helmet, on Little Meadow Road near Stepstone Hill Road, was reported at 12:56 p.m.
• A complaint about a political sign causing line-of-sight issues for drivers entering Boston Post Road was investigated at 6 Horseshoe Road at 1:45 p.m. Police spoke with the homeowner, who advised that the large sign was placed by a campaign team. The team would be contacted to request that it move the sign.
Sunday, Sept. 27
• A 55 year-old a woman of Woodland Road was arrested at 2:18 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree and threatening in the second degree.
Monday, Sept. 28
No arrests were made.
• Criminal mischief was investigated at 158 Barnshed Lane at 3:54 p.m. The complainant reported that rocks were thrown through the barn windows.
• A larceny was investigated at 91 Greenbrier Drive at 9:34 p.m. A sign was reported taken from the yard.
Tuesday, Sept. 29
• A 25 year-old Bridgeport man was arrested at 9:20 a.m. and charged with larceny in the third degree. He was processed on a $10,000 surety bond.
Wednesday, Sept. 30
No arrests were made.
• A larceny was investigated at 900 Boston Post Road at 9:22 a.m. A backpack was reported stolen from a vehicle.
• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 61 Soundview Road at 11:30 a.m.
• A complaint about fraud with a credit card was investigated at 18 Fox Ridge Road at 11:51 a.m.
Thursday, Oct. 1
• A 56 year-old woman of Sunset Ridge Drive was arrested at 7:38 p.m. and charged with harassment in the second degree.
• A theft was investigated at 301 Shore Drive at 11:02 a.m.
• A complaint from a woman having issues with a skunk was investigated at 1 Park Street at 11:22 a.m. Police gave the woman the number of a local animal control company.
• A theft was investigated at 553 Maple Hill Road at 3:14 p.m. Two packages that were left for a FedEx pickup were taken by someone other than FedEx.

No arrests were made.
• A complaint about fraud via identity theft was investigated at 167 Old Sachems Head Road at 1:21 p.m.
• The theft of a political lawn sign was reported at 438 Peddlers Road at 4:31 p.m. This was the second time a political sign was reported stolen from this property.

• A shoplifting incident was investigated at 1919 Boston Post Road at 8:07 p.m.

• Criminal mischief was investigated at 480 New England Road at 11:11 a.m. A fire was lit in a trash can on the property.

• A complaint about fraud via identity theft was investigated at 25 Union Street at 5:34 p.m.
Tuesday, Oct. 6
• A 75 year-old Madison woman was arrested at 8 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Wednesday, Oct. 7
No arrests were made.
• The theft of a political lawn sign was reported at 17 Davis Drive at 3:37 p.m.
• Harassment was investigated on Trolley Road at 4 p.m. The complainant reported that an ex-girlfriend was stalking him.
• Criminal mischief was investigated at 6 Sparrow Bush Lane at 4:26 p.m. A political banner was reported ripped off a fence and taken.
• Harassment via phone calls of a sexually explicit nature were reported at the Yale New Haven Shoreline Medical Center located at 111 Goose Lane at 7:41 p.m. The calls were made by an unknown male and directed at nurses at the center.
Thursday, Oct. 8
• A 25 year-old Groton man was arrested at 5:15 p.m. and charged with larceny in the fifth degree, robbery in the third degree, breach of peace in the second degree, and threatening in the second degree. He was processed on a $10,000 surety bond.
• A 36 year-old woman of Boston Post Road was arrested at 8:06 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.
• The theft of a motor vehicle was investigated at 40 Long Hill Farms at 7:54 a.m. The keys were left in a 2017 Mercedes Benz GLE 350. The vehicle was last seen at the residence the night before at 10 p.m.

• A complaint about identity fraud involving the Connecticut unemployment office was investigated at 144 Moose Hill Road at 10:06 a.m.
• Criminal mischief was investigated at 220 Dunk Rock Road at 1:07 p.m. Farm equipment was damaged.

• Neighbor trouble was investigated on Blanks Boulevard at 4:17 p.m. An elderly neighbor was in a verbal argument with another elderly neighbor. The caller felt the dispute would turn physical.

• A 24 year-old Bloomfield woman was arrested at 2:04 p.m. and charged with risk of injury to a minor and breach of peace in the second degree.
• Neighbor trouble was investigated on Maplecrest Drive at 8:53 a.m. Town departments were involved regarding wetlands issues.
• Neighbor trouble was investigated on the 100 block of Little Meadow Road at 12:42 p.m.
• Criminal mischief was investigated on Cooks Lane at 6:26 p.m. A lock on a gate was cut.

• A complaint about identity fraud was investigated on Cherry Street at 4:35 p.m. The complainant’s identity was stolen through email.

• Criminal mischief was investigated at 1509 Little Meadow Road at 6:05 a.m.
• A complaint about a loose horse was reported on the 200 block of Maupas North Road at 11:18 a.m. The horse was caught and returned to its stable.

• A larceny was investigated at 45 Clear Lake Road at 1:01 p.m. A canoe was stolen sometime between June and the time the complaint was filed.
• A complaint about identity fraud was investigated at 45 Howard Drive at 2:29 p.m. Someone attempted to cash a fraudulent check belonging to the complainant, at Guilford Savings Bank.
• A larceny was investigated at 2945 Boston Post Road at 3:53 p.m.

• A fraud complaint via Amazon.com was investigated at 100 Granite Road at 9:15 a.m.
• The theft of a political sign was reported at 80 Wilburs Lane at 10:01 a.m.
• The theft of a motor vehicle was investigated at 574 Saw Mill Road at 10:45 p.m. The vehicle was stolen overnight.
• The theft of a political sign was reported at 652 Tanner Marsh Road at 12:55 p.m.

• Criminal mischief was investigated at 3441 Durham Road at 10:40 a.m. Someone drove on the complainant’s lawn.
• A theft from a motor vehicle was investigated at 5020 Durham Road at 4 p.m. The vehicle was parked at Lone Pine Trail next to Bluff Head Farm when it was broken into and a purse was stolen. A second vehicle also had a window broken out.
• The theft of purse was investigated at 4630 Durham Road at 4:27 p.m. A vehicle was left unlocked with a purse inside while parked at Mattabesett Trail Head. The keys to the vehicle were inside the purse. Police gave the female complainant a ride home.

• A 32 year-old New London woman was arrested at 5:40 p.m. on warrants charging her with failure to pay or plead a citation and two counts of failure to appear in the second degree.
Thursday, Oct. 22
• A 37 year-old man of Quonnipaug Hill Road was arrested at 11:30 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.
• A theft from a motor vehicle was investigated at 54 Quonnipaug Lane at 1:01 a.m. An unlocked vehicle was entered and a wallet was missing.
• An attempted suicide was investigated at 2:22 a.m. The location was redacted by police for privacy concerns.
• A larceny was investigated at 381 Boston Post Road at 8:14 a.m. Cleaning supplies were stolen.

• A theft from a vehicle was investigated at 1064 Durham Road at 7:30 a.m. An unlocked car was entered and a wallet taken.
• The theft of a vehicle was investigated at 86 Prospect Hill Road at 8:06 a.m. A child seat was installed in the vehicle.

• The theft of a package was reported at 2300 Boston Post Road at 12:10 p.m.

• A 37 year-old Hamden woman was arrested at 1:23 p.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to appear in the second degree.

• A 38 year-old Bridgeport man was arrested at 5:47 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree and conspiracy to commit larceny in the sixth degree.
• A complaint about unemployment fraud was investigated at 12 Lantern Hill Road at 12:03 p.m.
• Harassment was investigated at 2131 Long Hill Road. The complainant received negative political mail in her mailbox. She stated that she knows who the mailer is.

• A 51 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 2:06 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to pay or plead a citation.
• Harassment by phone was investigated on Elizabeth Street at 8:40 a.m.
• Harassment via online bullying against an underage male was investigated at 3:36 p.m. Police redacted the address of the complainant for privacy concerns.

• A 71 year-old homeless man of Guilford was arrested at 12:24 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.

• A 30 year-old Branford woman was arrested at 4:18 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree and assault in the third degree.
• Criminal mischief was investigated at 1919 Boston Post Road at 9:04 a.m. A side glass partition was shattered at a bus stop on Boston Post Road.
• Neighbor trouble was reported on Jacobs Lane at 11:20 p.m.

• A larceny was investigated at 2945 Boston Post Road at 5:44 p.m. A man stole a generator minutes before the call about the theft was made to police.

• A 35 year-old North Haven man was arrested at 9:29 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Criminal mischief was investigated at 599 West Lake Ave at 8:57 a.m. A mailbox was damaged.
• Neighbor trouble was reported on Jacobs Lane at 6:13 p.m. The incident was over a shared driveway. The complainant reported that the neighbor shined a tactical light in his eyes, causing a headache.
