Police Incident Report for Oct. 21 to Nov. 3


The North Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Wednesday, Oct. 21

• A 26 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 5:43 a.m. and charged with larceny in the second degree.

Thursday, Oct. 22

• A 38 year-old man of Ozone Park, New York was arrested at 10:46 a.m. and charged with larceny in the fourth degree.

• A 45 year-old man of Queens, New York was arrested at 10:46 a.m. and charged with larceny in the fourth degree.

• A 47 year-old man of Rimmon Road was issued a misdemeanor summons at 10:57 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and misuse of plate.

Friday, Oct. 23

• A 53 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 6:45 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident in which there was property damage or bodily injury), and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway.

Saturday, Oct. 24 to Sunday, Oct. 25

No arrests were made.

Monday, Oct. 26

• A 21 year-old woman of Long Island City, New York was arrested at 5:30 p.m. and charged with larceny in the fifth degree.

• A 35 year-old man of Barton Drive was arrested at 8:30 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and assault in the second degree on a person age 60 or older or who is pregnant or handicapped.

Tuesday, Oct. 27

• A 44 year-old Virginia woman was arrested at 6:23 a.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.

• A 47 year-old man of Charlotte, North Carolina was arrested at 7:19 a.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree and interfering with an emergency call.

Wednesday, Oct. 28

• A 38 year-old Bridgeport man was arrested at 4 a.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree, robbery in the first degree, and four counts of violation of probation.

Thursday, Oct. 29

• A 24 year-old East Hampton man was arrested at 3:35 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, sale of fireworks without a permit, and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway.

Friday, Oct. 30

• A 25 year-old man of Kimberly Circle was arrested at 10:30 a.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree, threatening in the second degree, reckless endangerment in the second degree, criminal attempt to commit burglary in the second degree, interfering with an officer/resisting arrest, and two counts of assault on a public safety officer.

Saturday, Oct. 31

• A 43 year-old man of Clintonville Lane was arrested at 11:45 p.m. and charged with assault in the third degree.

Sunday, Nov. 1 to Monday, Nov. 2

No arrests were made.

Tuesday, Nov. 3

• A 19 year-old Hamden woman was arrested at 12 noon on a warrant charging her with failure to appear in the second degree.
