• A 44 year-old Branford man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 3:20 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

• Criminal mischief on private property was investigated at 16 Georgetown Circle at 9:48 a.m.

Thursday, July 9

• A 55 year-old Clinton man was arrested at 10:15 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway following a motor vehicle stop on Horse Pond Road.

• A complaint about identity theft was investigated at 44 Sportsman Hill Road at 12:16 p.m.

• A motor vehicle crash in which a driver evaded (fled) the scene was investigated in front of 44 Boston Post Road at 2:24 p.m.

• A motor vehicle crash with injuries was investigated on Horse Pond Road at Daffodil Hill Road at 3:45 p.m.

• A motor vehicle crash without injuries was investigated on Boston Post Road at Durham Road at 5:40 p.m.

• A 37 year-old man of Cohasset Lane was arrested at 9:45 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.

• A motor vehicle crash with injuries was investigated in front of 41 Hickory Lane at 6:36 p.m.

• A domestic dispute was investigated on Samantha Lane at 8 p.m.

• A 28 year-old Northford man was arrested at 12:02 p.m. and charged with reckless endangerment.

• An attempted theft was investigated at 512 County Road 8:07 a.m.

• A motor vehicle crash without injuries was investigated on Boston Post Road at Hammonasset Connector at 1:52 p.m.

• A breach of peace incident was investigated on the 1300 block of Boston Post Road at 4:12 p.m.

• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 37 Canborne Way at 5:01 p.m.

• A 19 year-old man of Flintrock Road was arrested at 2:23 a.m. and charged with operation of a motor vehicle by a minor with an elevated blood alcohol content and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway following a motor vehicle stop on Wild Cat Road.

• A 62 year-old Middletown man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 1:40 p.m. for speeding at over 60 miles per hour on a secondary road.

• A 59 year-old man of Ridgewood Avenue was arrested at 9:45 a.m. and charged with breach of peace, threatening in the second degree, and ridicule on account of race, creed, or color.

Tuesday, Aug. 11

• A 48 year-old Milford man was arrested at 11:20 a.m. and charged with burglary in the third degree and larceny in the sixth degree.

• A 61 year-old Groton man was arrested at 5:40 p.m. and charged with criminal mischief in the third degree and disorderly conduct.

• The theft of a motor vehicle was investigated at 57 West Middle Beach Road at 9:17 a.m.

• A theft from a motor vehicle was investigated at 62 Cherry Lane at 11:24 a.m.

Wednesday, July 8 to Wednesday, July 15

No arrests were made.

Thursday, July 16

• A 28 year-old man of Sportsman Hill Road was arrested at 11:47 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway. State police conducted a motor vehicle stop after observing erratic operation on Route 81. The accused consented to and failed a standardized field sobriety test.

Friday, July 17 to Thursday, July 23

No arrests were made.

Friday, July 24

• A 26 year-old man of Pond Meadow Road was arrested at 11:21 a.m. on the strength of a warrant charging him with burglary in the third degree, criminal mischief in the second degree, and larceny in the sixth degree. The alleged victims in the case were Mike’s Auto Service LLC of 1573 Saybrook Road in Haddam and a 46 year-old East Hampton man.
