State police conducted a motor vehicle stop after observing erratic operation on Route 81. The accused consented to and failed a standardized field sobriety test.

• A 26 year-old man of Pond Meadow Road was arrested at 11:21 a.m. on the strength of a warrant charging him with burglary in the third degree, criminal mischief in the second degree, and larceny in the sixth degree. The alleged victims in the case were Mike’s Auto Service LLC of 1573 Saybrook Road in Haddam and a 46 year-old East Hampton man.
