Thursday, June 25
• A 50 year-old man of Mulberry Point Road was arrested at 11:10 a.m. and charged with two counts of identity theft in the third degree.
• Threatening via text messages was investigated on the 500 block of Long Hill Road at 2:22 p.m.
• Criminal trespass was investigated on Sullivan Drive at 4:37 p.m. A dirt biker was on private property. Police could not locate the biker.
Friday, June 26
No arrests were made.
• Criminal mischief was investigated at 15 Highwoods Drive at 8:07 a.m. and 1753 Long Hill Road at 10:02 a.m. Mail boxes were damaged.
• A complaint about indecent exposure was investigated on Bay Street at 12:45 p.m.
• Neighbor trouble was investigated on Edwards Street at 7:54 p.m. The complainant reported that a neighbor had a camera pointed at his back door.
• A complaint about a scam via telephone was investigated on the 300 block of Saw Mill Road at 8:37 p.m.
Saturday, June 27
• A 52 year-old of High Street was arrested at 7:12 p.m. and charged with risk of injury to a minor, breach of peace in the second degree, and two counts of assault in the third degree. He was processed on a $15,000 surety bond.
• A larceny was investigated at 830 Boston Post Road at 2:49 p.m. Bags of bottles were taken.

Monday, June 29
• A 40 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 6 a.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree, conspiracy to commit larceny in the third degree, forgery in the third degree, and conspiracy to commit forgery in the third degree.
• Neighbor trouble was investigated on Edwards Street at 5:32 p.m. The neighbor’s son “flipped off” the complainant’s wife as he drove past the house.
• Suspicious activity was investigated at 981 Route 80 at 6:25 p.m. An unidentified male was observed looking through windows on the house. He then tried opening the complainant’s door. When the male saw the complainant, he ran down the 600-foot long driveway. The male looked about 160 pounds, stood about 5’-7,” and was wearing a baseball cap, blue T-shirt, and blue jeans.
• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 590 New England Road at 7:27 p.m. The complainant was scammed out of $1,200 via a fake Amazon email.
Tuesday, June 30
No arrests were made.
• Neighbor trouble was investigated on the 500 block of Maple Hill Road at 7:07 p.m. The complainant heard yelling coming from two houses closer to Guilford Lakes School. When she went to investigate the people at the house told her to “get the f--- out.”
Wednesday, July 1
• A 40 year-old Branford woman was arrested at 7:20 p.m. and charged with two counts of breach of peace in the second degree.
• Harassment was investigated on Edwards Street at 6:34 p.m. A complainant reported Facebook posts by a woman accusing a man of torturing squirrels.
• A larceny was investigated at 20 Andy Lane at 9:10 p.m. The theft of a package was captured on a Ring camera.
Thursday, July 2
No arrests were made.
• Criminal mischief was investigated at 82 Brookridge Lane at 6:39 p.m. A windshield wiper was bent while the vehicle was parked at Adams Middle School earlier in the day.
Friday, July 3
• A 26 year-old Portland man was arrested at 6:49 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.
Saturday, July 4
• A 27 year-old man of Marvel Road was arrested at 5:40 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and assault in the third degree.
• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 920 Little Meadow Road at 9:25 a.m. Someone filed for unemployment with the complainant’s information.
• Criminal trespass was investigated on Leetes Island Road at 10:56 a.m. Three teenage females were on the railroad tracks near mile post 85.
• A complaint about a large black snake in the backyard was reported at 23 Cornwall Lane at 11:40 a.m. The snake was on top of a bush near the back patio. It slithered away after it was touched with a snare.
• A breach of peace incident was investigated at 480 Whitfield Street at 1:28 p.m. People were arguing over protesters.
• Police received numerous calls during the evening hours (after darkness fell) about the discharge of aerial fireworks in several areas across town.
Sunday, July 5
• A 55 year-old woman of Woodland Road was arrested at 2:15 p.m. and charged with misuse of the emergency 911 system (false alarm).
• Neighbor trouble was investigated on Edwards Street at 5:42 p.m.
Monday, July 6
• A 49 year-old Branford woman was arrested at 2:12 p.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to appear in the second degree.
• The theft of a motor vehicle was investigated at 66 East Bearhouse Hill Road at 7:41 a.m. The vehicle was stolen from the garage.
• A larceny was investigated at 207 Fitch Hill Road at 6:12 p.m. A package was stolen from the mailbox.
• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 65 Little Harbor Road at 7:14 p.m. Online accounts were compromised.
Tuesday, July 7
No arrests were made.
• Neighbor trouble was investigated on Lakeside Drive at 4:59 p.m. The dispute was over the property line, which was being surveyed. The neighbor trespassed on what the complainant believed was his property, and started building a bridge over a waterway.
• A vehicle repossession was conducted by Skyline Recovery Service at 72 Bluff View Drive at 10:59 p.m.
Wednesday, July 8
• A 54 year-old Madison woman was arrested at 10:11 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree, conspiracy to commit larceny in the sixth degree, identity theft in the third degree, conspiracy to commit identity theft in the third degree, criminal impersonation, conspiracy to commit criminal impersonation, forgery in the second degree, and conspiracy to commit forgery in the second degree. While in custody she was also charged with violation of probation. In the same investigation a 26 year-old man of the same Madison residence was arrested and charged with larceny in the sixth degree, conspiracy to commit larceny in the sixth degree, conspiracy to commit identity theft in the third degree, conspiracy to commit forgery in the second degree, and conspiracy to commit criminal impersonation.
• A complaint about identity fraud was investigated at 37 Joan Drive at 7:46 a.m. An unemployment claim was filed in the complainant’s name.
Thursday, July 9
• A 49 year-old New Britain man was arrested at 11:32 p.m. and charged with two counts of larceny in the sixth degree and two counts of issuing a bad check for amounts between $500 and $1000.
• A report of an injured deer in the driveway was investigated at 156 West Lake Avenue at 8:58 a.m. Police dispatched the deer due to the severity of the injury. The Department of Public Works was notified to remove the carcass.
Friday, July 10
No arrests were made.
• A complaint about chickens crossing the road into a toddlers playscape was investigated at 447 Boston Street at 4:30 p.m. The caller did not want the chickens to be hit by a vehicle. The chickens crossed the road safely and then left the area.

No arrests were made.
• A theft from a motor vehicle was investigated on Old Whitfield Street at 12:50 p.m. Three lacrosse sticks were stolen from a Jeep. The complainant later reported that a brother took the sticks; the complainant wished to cancel the report.
Monday, July 13
No arrests were made.
• The theft of a motor vehicle was investigated at 154 Beaver Head Road at 8 a.m. A Honda CRV was stolen. A second vehicle in the driveway was also entered. The stolen vehicle was left unlocked with the keys inside.
• A theft from a motor vehicle was investigated at 440 Great Hill Road at 3:18 p.m. Cash was stolen from an unlocked vehicle while it was parked in the driveway.
• A theft of $100 worth of Red Bull and diapers was investigated at Walmart, 900 Boston Post Road, at 7:40 p.m. The suspect, a male, was a passenger in a vehicle driven from the scene by another male.
Tuesday, July 14
• A 70 year-old East Haven man was arrested at 4:46 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway.
Wednesday, July 15
No arrests were made.
• Threatening was investigated on the 700 block of Podunk Road at 9:12 p.m.
