Police Incident Report for June 24 to July 7


The North Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Wednesday, June 24

• A 19 year-old man of Manor Drive was arrested at 3 p.m. and charged with criminal mischief in the third degree and reckless endangerment in the first degree.

Thursday, June 25

No arrests were made.

Friday, June 26

• A 53 year-old man of Hemingway Road was arrested at 5:53 p.m. and charged with violation of conditions of release in the second degree and criminal violation of a restraining order.

Saturday, June 27

• A 25 year-old East Haven man was arrested at 8 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct, assault in the third degree, and two counts of violation of a protective order.

Sunday, June 28

• A 29 year-old Wallingford man was arrested at 9:30 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree and assault in the second degree.

Monday, June 29

• A 30 year-old Meriden woman was arrested at 3:15 a.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.

• A 40 year-old Wallingford man was arrested at 5:30 a.m. and charged with risk of injury to minor, disorderly conduct, and unlawful restraint in the second degree.

• A 47 year-old East Haven man was arrested at 10:01 a.m. and charged with burglary in the third degree, criminal mischief in the third degree, and larceny in the sixth degree.

• A 40 year-old Wallingford man was arrested at 1:40 p.m. and charged with criminal trespass in the first degree and violation of a protective order.

• A 37 year-old man of Woodside Drive was arrested at 5:30 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.

Tuesday, June 30

• A 36 year-old man of Weaver Circle was arrested at 10:30 a.m. and charged with risk of injury to a minor and assault in the third degree.

Wednesday, July 1

• A 26 year-old Wallingford man was arrested at 5:07 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.

• A 45 year-old North Branford man was arrested at 1:13 p.m. and charged with burglary in the third degree, criminal mischief in the third degree, and criminal attempt to commit larceny in the sixth degree.

Thursday, July 2

No arrests were made.

• A 28 year-old New Haven man was issued a citation at 8:12 p.m. for creating a public disturbance.

Friday, July 3

• A 21 year-old man of Ansonia Drive was arrested at 9:32 a.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.

Saturday, July 4

No arrests were made.

• A 26 year-old man of Saint John Street was issued a citation at 1:10 a.m. for creating a public disturbance.

Sunday, July 5

• A 34 year-old man of Marlen Drive was arrested at 5 p.m. and charged with criminal lockout (depriving a tenant of access to his dwelling unit or his personal possessions without benefit of a court order).

Monday, July 6

No arrests were made.

Tuesday, July 7

• A 47 year-old man of State Street was arrested at 9 a.m. and charged with larceny in the second degree and offering home repairs without a license.

From July 1 to 7, one citation was issued for each of the following motor vehicle violations: failure to comply with state traffic commission road signs or street markings, operating a motor vehicle without a license, failure to obey a stop sign, failure to signal a turn, and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway.
