• An 18 year-old man of West Lake Avenue was arrested at 5:26 p.m. and charged with forgery in the second degree.
• An 18 year-old man of Nut Plains Road was arrested at 7:19 p.m. and charged with possession of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a school or public housing, conspiracy to possess a controlled substance, being a non-student with drugs near a school or public housing, and use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
Saturday, May 9
• A 42 year-old North Branford woman was arrested at 12:04 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree and conspiracy to commit larceny in the sixth degree.
• Harassment by an ex-spouse via social media was investigated on North Street at 11:57 a.m.
Sunday, May 10
No arrests were made.
• A complaint about juveniles playing soccer on a field at Guilford High School after dark was investigated at 10:19 p.m. The juveniles were dispersed and went home.

• A complaint about fraudulent charges on a credit card was investigated at 65 Orchard View Road at 11:07 a.m.
• Criminal mischief was investigated at the Shell/Food Mart station at 3:46 p.m.

• A theft from two vehicles was investigated at 7 Oakwood Drive at 6:36 a.m. Two wallets were taken.
• A theft from motor vehicles was investigated at 31 Briarwood Drive at 8:53 a.m. The vehicles were left unlocked.
• Criminal trespass (an ongoing issue) was investigated at 111 Lovers Lane at 10:30 a.m.
• A theft of mail was investigated at 2995 Boston Post Road at 2 p.m.

Saturday, May 16
• A 45 year-old woman of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was arrested at 10:50 a.m. and charged with home invasion, burglary in the first degree, disorderly conduct, and threatening in the second degree.
• A 21 year-old woman of Farmview Drive was arrested at 2:21 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree. The incident occurred at 1675 Boston Post Road at 1:04 p.m.
• A burglary was investigated at 58 River Colony at 10:50 a.m.
• Criminal trespass was investigated at 121 Neck Road at 7:36 p.m. A complainant reported that at least two kids were on the roof of the Grass Island shack across from the Town Marina.

• Neighbor trouble (an ongoing issue) was investigated at 35 Boston Post Road at 12:52 p.m.

• A 41 year-old man of Pleasant Valley, New York was arrested at 8:25 a.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.

• A complaint about a horse in the roadway was investigated on Crooked Hill Road at 8:30 a.m. Police could not locate the animal.
• Criminal trespass was investigated at 95 Joseph Drive was 9:45 a.m. A complainant reported an ongoing issue of people walking over private property.

• A complaint about a bag of marijuana left on the town docks was investigated at 4:53 p.m.
Friday, May 22

• Harassment was investigated at the 66 High Street residential complex. The complainant reported being threatened by an employee at the complex.
• A complaint about a group of 10 younger males hiking on walking trails near Sullivan Drive without masks and not social distancing was investigated at 4:23 p.m. Police checked the area but could not locate the youths.
• Criminal trespass was investigated on Neck Road at 8:26 p.m. A caller reported that three to four juveniles were on the roof of the red shack on Grass Island, across from the town marina.

• A shoplifting incident was investigated on Fresh Market, 1919 Boston Post Road, at 11:13 a.m.

Monday, May 25
• A 20 year-old man and a 21 year-old man of the same residence were arrested at 12:11 p.m. Each party was charged with disorderly conduct under the Domestic Violence Act and assault in the third degree.
• A theft from a motor vehicle was investigated at 80 Seaview Terrace at 8:50 a.m. A credit card and numerous items were stolen.
• A domestic dispute was investigated at 12:11 p.m. The location was redacted by police for privacy concerns.
• A dumping violation was reported at Nut Plains Cemetery, 420 Nut Plains Road, at 1:34 p.m. A baby carriage and random garbage was left of the property.
• Criminal trespass was investigated at 3080 Boston Post Road at 3:17 p.m. The owner of a burned-down house reported that people were trespassing on the property.
Tuesday, May 26

• A complaint about attempted fraud via a person who tried to access the complainant’s social security benefits was investigated on Water Lily Lane at 4:52 p.m.
• Neighbor trouble was investigated on Edwards Street at 8:12 p.m. The complainant reported that a neighbor honks a horn several times daily in order to harass.

• A 52 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 10:15 a.m. and charged with larceny in the fifth degree and forgery in the third degree.
• The theft of a Guilford Land Conversation Trust rules sign was investigated on Burt Road near Durham Road at 12:57 p.m.

• Neighbor trouble (an ongoing issue) was investigated on Boston Terrace at 11:03 a.m.
• A complaint about credit card fraud was investigated at 385 Colonial Road at 1:08 p.m.

• A larceny was investigated at 1116 Boston Post Road at 7:42 p.m. A complainant reported that someone signed for and took a package of wine that was delivered by FEDEX after it was re-routed to Walgreens from the original delivery address.

• Criminal mischief was investigated at 19 Russo Drive at 7:03 a.m. The rear window of a vehicle was broken with a brick.
• Neighbor trouble was investigated on Watering Pond Road at 4:27 p.m.
• A breach of peace incident was investigated on Sperry Drive at 4:56 p.m. Landscapers at 104 Sperry Drive were threatened by a large male who lives in the area.
• A breach of peace incident was investigated at 1919 Boston Post Road at 5:58 p.m. A man forced his way into Bed Bath & Beyond and shouted at staff when they advised him the store was closed.

• A 23 year-old man of Nortontown Road was arrested at 1:30 p.m. and charged with criminal mischief in the third degree and breach of peace in the second degree.
• A 21 year-old man of Providence, Rhode Island was arrested at 1:30 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.

• Harassment via text by an ex-spouse of the complainant was investigated on the 300 block of New England Road at 12:13 p.m.
• Criminal mischief was investigated at 3000 Long Hill Road at 4:09 p.m. A house was damaged while the residents were away.
• Criminal mischief was investigated at 315 Mulberry Point Road at 10:01 p.m. A caller reported that a vehicle headed toward the beach was hitting mailboxes.

• A 30 year-old North Haven man was arrested at 10:30 a.m. and charged with risk of injury to a minor and enticing a minor under the age of 13 via a computer.
• Criminal mischief was investigated at 44 Surrey Lane at 10:16 a.m. The garage door was spray painted.
• Harassment via phone was investigated on the 1900 block of Boston Post Road at 12:56 p.m.
• Breach of peace was investigated at 122 Broad Street at 4:39 p.m. A person entered the church office, yelled at workers, and left.
• Criminal mischief was investigated at 346 Chaffinch Island Road at 6:40 p.m.
• A landlord/tenant dispute was investigated on the 300 block of State Street at 7:03 p.m.

• Breach of peace was investigated on White Birch Drive at 3:54 p.m. A group of adult males were verbally arguing and swearing at each other, apparently in the presence of children.
• Counterfeiting was investigated at 55 Whitfield Street at 5:53 p.m. A caller reported that two females paid for merchandise with a counterfeit $100 bill, then ran from the store. They were last seen driving westbound on Water Street in a gray/silver Toyota possibly bearing plate number LGX8491.

• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 52 Saginaw Trail at 4:51 p.m. The complainant was charged $100 by a fake Roku television channel company after the Roku company was hacked.

• The left of a motor vehicle was investigated at 45 Clear Lake Road at 6:41 a.m. The vehicle was recovered in Hartford. The registration plates were found inside the vehicle.
• Criminal mischief was investigated a 2171 Boston Post Road at 11:32 a.m. Plants were damaged.
• A domestic dispute was investigated at 12:09 p.m. The location was redacted by police for privacy concerns.
• A complaint about fraudulent charges on a credit card was investigated at 90 Davis Drive at 4:11 p.m.
• An animal complaint was reported on the 1800 block of Boston Post Road at 8:57 p.m. A snapping turtle was assisted in its attempt to cross the road.
Friday, June 12

• Criminal mischief was investigated at 1:52 a.m. Mail boxes were damaged and mail was taken from postal boxes at 533 Water Street, 43 and 48 Chestnut Grove, and 978, 1060, and 1078 West Lake Avenue. Branford police arrested three individuals for the same offense in their town. Those arrested were believed to be associated with the Guilford mailbox damage and theft incidents.
• A windshield was broken at 282 West Lake Avenue at 2:09 p.m.
• A caller on Sugarbush reported hearing two females yelling and screaming about one hitting the other at 1:08 p.m. Police checked the area and asked neighbors. The arguing parties could not be located.
• A larceny was investigated at 233 Church Street at 3:36 p.m. A dirt bike was taken from Adams Middle School. A plate of the possible offending vehicle was recorded by a witness, but it did not match the vehicle.
Saturday, June 13
• A 20 year-old woman of Kenneth Circle was arrested at 8:43 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.
• Criminal mischief was investigated at 75 Clear Lake Manor Road at 1:06 p.m. A vehicle was damaged with a rock.
• A report of gate guards being harassed was investigated Jacobs Beach on Seaside Avenue at 1:15 p.m.
• Neighbor trouble was investigated on Oakwood Drive at 6:13 p.m. A caller reported a verbal dispute with a next- door neighbor.
• A domestic dispute was investigated at 8:43 p.m. The location was redacted by police for privacy concerns.

• Criminal mischief was investigated at 2351 Durham Road at 9:23 a.m. The Dudley Farm sign was damaged.
• A complaint about identity fraud related to the theft of a wallet was investigated at 23 Polpis Lane at 6:06 p.m.

• A 29 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 3:45 p.m. and charged with violation of probation. He was processed on a $25,000 surety bond.
• Criminal mischief was investigated at 380 Jefferson Drive at 11:46 a.m. A neighbor destroyed a rock wall on the complainant’s property.
• A complaint about check fraud was investigated at 742 North Madison Road at 1:16 p.m.

• A complaint about fraud via the Internet involving a rental company was investigated at 101 Maupas North Road at 3:48 p.m.
• A complaint about identity theft via credit card fraud was investigated at 1 Pole Bridge Lane at 5:56 p.m.
• A larceny was investigated at 381 Boston Post Road at 9:13 p.m. A person sold a tip jar.

• Breach of peace was investigated at 125 Goose Lane at 6:55 p.m. Yale security reported that a male patient threatened staff and security.

• A cat bite was reported at 535 Boston Post Road at 7:49 a.m.
• A report of a black snake was investigated at 159 Granite Road at 12:32 p.m. The snake was gone when police arrived.
• A larceny was investigated at 145 Donald Road at 3:10 p.m. Timbers on the edge of the complainant’s property line were taken.

• Harassment via text and email by an ex-boyfriend was investigated on Little Meadow Road at 3:52 p.m.
• A complaint about an ongoing issue with a neighbor about the cutting of bushes over a property line was investigated on Driftwood Lane at 2:21 p.m.

• A 66 year-old woman of Boston Terrace was arrested at 11:59 a.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.
Sunday, June 21
• A 37 year-old woman of Flat Meadow Road was arrested at 9:37 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs (second time arrested for this offense), operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, and failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart.
• A complaint about health code violations was investigated at Lake Quonnipaug, 4000 Durham Road, at 4:03 p.m. Numerous families were on the beach and swimming in the lake. Everyone was cooperative with police and left the water.
Monday, June 22
No arrests were made.
• A noise complaint was investigated on the 900 block of Boston Post Road at 8:55 a.m. A business was holding an outdoor class and playing music through a small Bluetooth speaker during workout instruction. The business said it would move the 5:30 p.m. class indoors in the future.
Tuesday, June 23
• A 79 year-old woman of Boston Post Road was arrested at 8:20 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident), and failure to grant right of way to a pedestrian.
