• A complaint about attempted credit card fraud via telephone was investigated at 189 Great Hill Road at 5:47 p.m.
• A complaint about identity fraud was investigated at 1290 Durham Road at 7:11 p.m.
• Harassment was investigated on the 3200 block of Durham Road at 8:27 p.m.
• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 200 Boston Post Road at 8:27 p.m. Scammers posed as Publisher’s Clearing House.

• Criminal mischief was investigated at 48 River Colony at 6:49 p.m. The windows of the complainant’s vehicle were smashed out during the overnight hours. Nothing was taken.

• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 33 Kenneth Circle at 10:02 a.m.
• A complaint about violation the COVID-19 emergency health code via too many shoppers in a store was investigated at 1355 Boston Post Road. The Guilford Fire Department determined the number of people in the store was well under the recommendation of a maximum of 120 shoppers.
• Criminal trespass was investigated on Clear Lake Road at 3:29 p.m. The president of Clear Lake Association stated that two young males jumped over a locked fence and were on the lake in a boat. The males left the lake and were advised that the lake was closed.
• A sexual assault was investigated at 6:28 p.m. The location was redacted for privacy concerns.
• A domestic dispute was investigated at 8:01 p.m. The location was redacted for privacy concerns.

• A complaint about fraud via the opening of false accounts was investigated at 12 Lantern Hill Road at 1:50 p.m.
• A peddling permit issue was investigated at 9 Boston Post 1:54 p.m. The owner of Sultan Kebab food truck let his permit expire.
• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 1107 Long Hill Road at 9:40 p.m. The complainant noticed a strange change of bank information. He ended up on the phone with someone who tried to get him to purchase a number of gift cards.
Thursday, April 30
• A 43 year-old Wallingford woman was arrested at 4:20 p.m. and charged with criminal trespass in the first degree and violation of a protective over.
Friday, May 1

• Harassment was investigated on Wauwinet Court at 8:36 a.m.
• A motor vehicle crash was investigated on Leetes Island Road near Water Street. A box truck struck a railroad bridge. Amtrak police were notified.
• A theft from a motor was investigated at 1080 West Lake Avenue at 8:21 p.m.
• A domestic dispute was investigated at 9:19 p.m. The location was redacted by police for privacy concerns to the family involved.
• A complaint about a dog left in a vehicle was investigated on High Street near Whitfield Street a 11:37 p.m. The owner forgot the dog was in the vehicle. No enforcement action was taken.
Saturday, May 2
• A 52 year-old man of Streamview Circle was arrested at 11:40 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway, and operating a motor vehicle while using a hand-held cell phone following a motor vehicle crash on Stepstone Hill Road.
• A breach of peace incident was investigated at Village Green Gardens, 705 Boston Post Road, at 1:08 p.m.
Sunday, May 3
No arrests were made.
• A complaint about fraud via threatening phone calls and text messages was investigated at 776 Hoop Pole Road at 8:25 a.m.
• Suspicious activity was investigated at 377 Goose Lane at 6:43 p.m. A white middle-aged man, balding, pulled up to the complainant’s house, rolled down the vehicle window, and took photos of the house while the boys were mowing the lawn. The man said something to the boys but they were not able to understand what he said before he left in a southbound direction.
• A complaint about fraud/scam via phone and texts involving a North Carolina independent film producer who failed to repay promised loans totaling $3,000 was investigated at 29 Horseshoe Road at 7:39 p.m.
• A breach of peace incident was investigated at 11:32 p.m. The location was redacted by police for privacy concerns for the family involved.
Monday, May 4
• A 20 year-old man of Chaffinch Island Road was arrested at 11 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and drugs, possession of less than one-half ounce of cannabis, and use or possession of drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on Joseph Drive.
• The theft of a motor vehicle was investigated at 6:13 p.m. The complainant stored his motorcycle at another person’s residence. The person moved the motorcycle to an unknown location and refused to give the bike owner any information on its whereabouts. The accused party lives in Durham. The case was redirected to Connecticut State Police at Troop F, the authority that polices Durham.

• A complaint about attempted fraud on a bank account was investigated at Guilford Savings Bank, 1 Park Street, at 9:28 a.m.
• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 183 Alden Drive at 12:05 p.m.
• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 1 Decaro Lane at 1:32 p.m.
• Criminal trespass was investigated at 1445 Hoop Pole Road at 4:11 p.m. Trespassers were running all-terrain vehicles at night and possible hunting on the property.
Wednesday, May 6
• A 32 year-old woman of Bittersweet Circle was arrested at 1 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.
• A domestic dispute was investigated at 12:14 a.m. The location was redacted for concerns of privacy for the family.
• A sex offense/possible child pornography complaint was investigated at 2:17 p.m.
