Police Incident Report for Feb. 8 to 19


The North Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Saturday, Feb. 8

• A 31 year-old Middletown woman was arrested at 3 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree and failure to appear in the second degree on an outstanding warrant.

• A 27 year-old man of Mill Road was arrested at 10:32 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.

• A 29 year-old Cheshire man was arrested at 11:32 p.m. and charged with two counts of breach of peace in the second degree.

• A 45 year-old Wallingford man was arrested at 11:32 p.m. and charged with two counts of breach of peace in the second degree.

Sunday, Feb. 9

No arrests were made.

• A 26 year-old New Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9:57 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance and failure to renew registration.

• A 70 year-old Middletown man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 11:21 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and misuse of plate.

Monday, Feb. 10

• A 19 year-old Hamden man was arrested at 5:25 p.m. and charged with sale of a controlled substance and illegal possession of prescription drugs.

Tuesday, Feb. 11

• A 39 year-old Portland man was arrested at 10 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.

• A 39 year-old Portland man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 10:15 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and misuse of plate.

• A 57 year-old man of Hartford Turnpike was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9:51 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension.

Wednesday, Feb. 12

No arrests were made.

• A 60 year-old man of Wayland Street was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

• A 21 year-old West Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 6:39 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and misuse of plate.

• A 41 year-old Thomaston man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 12:02 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, misuse or plate, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

Thursday, Feb. 13

• A 47 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 3:45 p.m. on warrants charging him with three counts of failure to pay or plead a citation.

Friday, Feb. 14

No arrests were made.

• A 62 year-old New Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 11:34 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance and operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license.

Saturday, Feb. 15

• A 28 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 2 a.m. and charged with criminal impersonation, interfering with an officer/resisting arrest, operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and failure to obey a traffic control signal. While in custody he was also charged with failure to appear in the second degree on an outstanding warrant.

• A 21 year-old New Haven woman was arrested at 2:30 a.m. and charged with interfering with an officer/resisting arrest and conspiracy. While in custody she was also charged with failure to appear in the second degree on an outstanding warrant.

• A 22 year-old New Haven woman was arrested at 5 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.

• A 23 year-old Hamden woman was arrested at 5 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.

Sunday, Feb. 16

• A 52 year-old Meriden man was arrested at 7:45 p.m. and charged with criminal mischief in the first degree and larceny in the first degree.

• A 27 year-old Hamden woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 1:40 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and failure to obey a traffic control signal.

Monday, Feb. 17

• A 29 year-old West Haven man was arrested at 11:30 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and possession of a controlled substance.

• A 58 year-old New Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9:44 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, failure to register a commercial vehicle, and falsifying a marker plate, driver’s license, or insurance.

• A 34 year-old New Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 12:12 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, misuse of plate, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

Tuesday, Feb. 18

No arrests were made.

• A 52 year-old Middletown man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 8:46 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, misuse of plate, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

• A 54 year-old Southington man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 11:51 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, misuse of plate, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

• A 46 year-old Meriden woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 12:37 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and improper license classification for vehicle driven.

Wednesday, Feb. 19

• A 40 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 11:16 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.

• A 36 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 7:05 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree and threatening in the second.

• A 56 year-old New Haven woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9:50 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
