• A 23 year-old woman of Woodlands Road was arrested at 3:16 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct under the Domestic Violence Act.

• A 60 year-old man of Nathans Lane was arrested at 5:17 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, reckless driving, and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway.

• A 31 year-old man of Woodlands Road was arrested at 3:14 p.m. and charged with interfering with an officer, possession of greater than one-half ounce of cannabis, and violation of probation.

• A domestic dispute was investigated on Park Lane at 8:58 p.m.

Thursday, Dec. 12

• A 31 year-old Middletown man was arrested at 4:35 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, sale of an amphetamine type substance, failure to keep a prescription drug in its original container, failure to return license after suspension, and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway.

• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 408 Boston Post Road 2:11 p.m.

• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 295 Bradley Corners Road at 4:02 p.m.

• A domestic dispute was investigated on Field Brook Road at 9:43 p.m.

Friday, Dec. 13

• A 55 year-old man of Field Brook Road was arrested at 12:44 a.m. and charged with violation of conditions of release in the second degree following an investigation at 876 Boston Post Road.

• Harassment was investigated on the 400 block of Horse Pond Road at 3:34 p.m.

• A motor vehicle crash without injuries was investigated on Duck Hole Road at Hammonasset Connector at 8:38 a.m.

• A theft of checks was investigated at 494 Old Toll Road at 9:42 a.m.

• A motor vehicle crash without injuries was investigated on Green Hill Road at Copse Road at 12 p.m.

• A breach of peace incident was investigated on the 2100 block of Durham Road at 6:11 p.m.

• A complaint about an unwanted person or persons was investigated on the 800 block of Boston Post Road at 1:06 p.m.

• A motor vehicle crash with injuries involving a DUI investigation was investigated on Durham Road at Northwood Road at 11:52 p.m.

Killingworth

Wednesday, Dec. 4

• A 27 year-old Clinton man was arrested on a warrant charging him with burglary in the third degree and larceny in the sixth degree for crimes committed at 24 Whitewood Road. The complaint reported that the accused stole $500 from his residence. The accused was an employee of a cleaning company who claimed he needed money desperately, and admitted to gaining access to the residence via a key kept in a lockbox for cleaning personnel to enter the residence.

No arrests were made.

Friday, Dec. 13

• A 27 year-old man of Route 148 was arrested at 8:31 p.m. and charged with possession of narcotics and use or possession of drug paraphernalia. He was processed on a $15,000 surety bond.

Saturday, Dec. 14

• A 22 year-old Higganum man was arrested at 7:04 p.m. and charged with failure to pay or plead a citation following a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Roast Meat Hill Road and Route 80.

• A 20 year-old Durham man was issued a verbal warning at 6:15 p.m. for failure to grant right of way at an intersection. He was operating a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt LT southbound on Roast Meat Hill Road entered the right of way path of a 2002 Saturn L300 operated by a 22 year-old Higganum man who was traveling west on Route 80. No one was injured in the crash.

Monday, Dec. 16

No arrests were made.

• A 19 year-old Durham man was issued a citation at 6:09 a.m. for traveling too fast for conditions. He as operating a 2003 Ford Ranger on Route 79 when he lost control of the vehicle, exited the roadway, and struck a tree head on. The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was extracted by EMS personnel and transported to Middlesex Hospital in Middletown for evaluation and treatment of minor injuries sustained in the crash.

Wednesday, Dec. 18

No arrests were made.

• A 23 year-old man of Pond Meadow Road was issued a citation at 4:46 p.m. for failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart. He was operating a 2004 Subaru Impreza on Route 81 from a stopped position and struck the rear of a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe operated by a 66 year-old Higganum man. No one was injured in the crash.

Thursday, Dec. 19 to Sunday, Dec. 22

Monday, Dec. 23

No arrests were made.

• A 42 year-old Bethany man was issued a citation at 6:21 p.m. for using a hand-held cell phone while driving. He was operating a 2006 Ford Escape Hybrid westbound on Route 148 approaching the intersection at Route 81 when he looked down at his cell phone, continued straight off the road, and struck a light pole and a tree. The operator reported minor injuries and was transported to the Shoreline Clinic in Westbrook for evaluation and treatment.

Wednesday, Dec. 25

• A 74 year-old Clinton man was issued a citation at 6:02 p.m. for failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. He was operating a 2004 Ford Crown Victoria southbound on Route 81 when he failed to maintain the travel lane, crossed over the double yellow line, and collided with a 2019 Nissan Altima operated by a 65 year-old woman of Lake Worth, Florida. Injuries were reported but medical attention was declined.
