The East Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Tuesday, Oct. 1

• A 71 year-old man of Kenneth Street was arrested at 4:43 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree, threatening in the first degree, reckless endangerment in the first degree, and four counts of risk of injury to a minor. He was processed on a $5,000 surety bond.

• A 44 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 7:25 p.m. and charged with criminal trespass in the first degree.

Wednesday, Oct. 2

• A 32 year-old man of Vista Drive was arrested at 1:18 p.m. and charged with burglary in the third degree, criminal mischief in the first degree, and violation of a protective order.

• A 29 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 3:04 p.m. and charged with possession of greater than one-half ounce of cannabis, sale of a narcotic, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, improper use of marker plate, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

• A 40 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 9:14 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree, stalking in the third degree, and public indecency.

Thursday, Oct. 3

• A 25 year-old woman of Cecelia Drive was arrested at 6:19 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and violation of a protective order.

• A 56 year-old man of Foxon Boulevard was arrested at 8:19 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.

Friday, Oct. 4

• An 18 year-old woman of Oregon Avenue was arrested at 8:03 a.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.

• A 19 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 4:42 p.m. on a warrant charging him with three counts of failure to appear in the second degree. He was processed on a combined $1,500 surety bond.

Saturday, Oct. 5

• A 30 year-old man of Silver Sands Road was arrested at 12:49 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.

Sunday, Oct. 6

• A 39 year-old man of Lenox Street was arrested at 9:10 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and interfering with an emergency call. He was processed on a $5,000 surety bond.

Monday, Oct. 7

No arrests were made.

• A 39 year-old Wallingford woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway, and improper passing.

Tuesday, Oct. 8

• A 51 year-old man of Osmond Street was arrested at 8:42 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree and use or possession of drug paraphernalia containing less than one-half ounce of cannabis.

• A 51 year-old New Haven woman was arrested at 9:46 p.m. and charged with two counts of violation of probation, larceny in the sixth degree, possession of greater than one-half ounce of cannabis, and use or possession of drug paraphernalia containing less than one-half ounce of cannabis. She was processed on a combined $15,000 surety bond.

• A 46 year-old New Haven woman was arrested at 10:10 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.

Wednesday, Oct. 9

• A 29 year-old Wallingford man was arrested at 9 a.m. and charged with multiple counts of burglary in the third degree, larceny in the third degree, larceny in the fourth degree, larceny in the fifth degree, larceny in the sixth degree, and criminal mischief in the first degree, and criminal mischief in the third degree. He was processed on a combined $60,000 surety bond.

Thursday, Oct. 10

• A 44 year-old North Haven man was arrested at 10:06 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs (this was the third time this man has been charge with the crime) and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway.

• A 40 year-old West Haven man was arrested at 1:50 p.m. and charged with criminal impersonation, interfering with an officer/resisting arrest, operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, theft of plates, improper use of marker plate, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. While in custody he was also charged with failure to appear in the second degree on an outstanding warrant.

• A 21 year-old woman of Laurel Street was arrested at 5:58 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree and assault in the third degree.

Friday, Oct. 11

• A 55 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 6:03 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree and interfering with an officer/resisting arrest.

• A 41 year-old man of unknown address was arrested at 6:30 p.m. and charged with larceny in the fifth degree, stealing a firearm, carrying a pistol without a permit, and illegal transfer or sale of a handgun. He was processed on a $100,000 surety bond.

Saturday, Oct. 12

• A 24 year-old woman of Silver Sands Road was arrested at 12:05 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway following a motor vehicle stop on Short Beach Road at Ozone Road.

• A 30 year-old man of Cedar Court was arrested at 2:57 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.

• A 22 year-old man of Hughes Street was arrested at 3:59 p.m. and charged with interfering with an officer/resisting arrest.

• A 44 year-old man of Kimberly Avenue was arrested at 5:40 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs following a motor vehicle stop on High Street at Messina Drive.

Sunday, Oct. 13

• A 51 year-old man of Osmond Street was arrested at 6:40 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree, credit card theft, charging less than $500 on a revoked credit card, and disorderly conduct.

Monday, Oct. 14

No arrests were made.

Tuesday, Oct. 15

• A 41 year-old woman of Old Foxon Road was arrested at noon on a warrant charging her with failure to appear in the second degree following an investigation on Foxon Road at the New Haven town line.

• A 41 year-old man was arrested at 2:50 p.m. and charged with criminal trespass in the first degree and violation of a protective order. He was processed on a $3,000 surety bond.

Wednesday, Oct. 16

• An 18 year-old West Haven woman was arrested at 3:30 a.m. and charged with assault in the third degree and breach of peace in the second degree. She was processed on a $2,500 bond.

• A 24 year-old man of Old Bradley Street was arrested at 12:50 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct, interfering with an emergency call, and threatening in the second degree. He was processed on a $10,000 surety bond.

• A 26 year-old man of High Street was arrested at 5:45 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.

Thursday, Oct. 17

• A 40 year-old man of Old Foxon Road was arrested at 10:58 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and threatening in the second degree.

Friday, Oct. 18

• A 32 year-old man of Messina Drive was arrested at 9:55 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and threatening in the second degree. He was processed on a $5,000 surety bond.

Saturday, Oct. 19

No arrests were made.

Sunday, Oct. 20

• A 69 year-old woman of Thompson Street was arrested at 12:32 a.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.

• A 43 year-old New Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 12:13 p.m. for possession of greater than one-half ounce of cannabis, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and improper use of marker plate. He was processed on a $2,500 bond.

Monday, Oct. 21

• A 19 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 1:30 a.m. and charged with interfering with an officer/resisting arrest.

• A 38 year-old woman of Staltonstall Place was arrested at 11:55 p.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to pay or plead a citation.

Tuesday, Oct. 22

• A 26 year-old man of Henry Street was arrested at 7:30 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.

• A 27 year-old man of Old Foxon Road was arrested at 10:57 a.m. and charged with violation of probation. He was processed on a $100,000 surety bond.

• A 29 year-old Branford woman was arrested at 12:17 p.m. and charged with criminal trespass in the first degree.

Wednesday, Oct. 23

• A 65 year-old man of Bayside, New York was arrested at 3:03 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.

Thursday, Oct. 24

• A 43 year-old man of Bradley Street was arrested at 3:11 p.m. and charged with possession of greater than one-half ounce of cannabis and carrying a firearm while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He was processed on a $5,000 surety bond.

• A 54 year-old North Branford man was arrested at 10:49 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident in which there was property damage or bodily injury), and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway following a motor vehicle crash on Foxon Road at Pleasant Avenue.

Friday, Oct. 25

• A 46 year-old Branford man was arrested at 6:20 p.m. and charged with two counts of violation of probation. He was processed on a combined $40,000 surety bond.

• A 40 year-old woman of Boston Avenue was arrested at 10:25 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident in which there was property damage or bodily injury), and failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart.

Saturday, Oct. 26

• A 26 year-old man of Ann Street was arrested at 2:43 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway. She was processed on a $5,000 bond.

• A 39 year-old man of Coe Avenue was arrested at 9 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Sunday, Oct. 27

• A 40 year-old man of Old Foxon Road was arrested at 4:30 a.m. and charged with violation of a protective order. He was processed on a $10,000 bond.

Monday, Oct. 28

• An 18 year-old man of Cosey Beach Avenue was arrested at 6:44 p.m. and charged with reckless endangerment in the second degree, engaging police in pursuit, reckless driving, improper use of marker plate, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. He was processed on a $7,500 bond.

Tuesday, Oct. 29

• A 48 year-old New Haven woman was arrested at 11:30 a.m. and charged with larceny in the third degree and larceny in the sixth degree. She was processed on a $5,000 bond.

• A 29 year-old Shelton woman was arrested at 8:53 p.m. and charged with violation of a protective order. She was processed on a $2,500 bond.
