Police Incident Report for Sept. 19 to 25


The Guilford Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Thursday, Sept. 19

No arrests were made.

• A complaint about two white/brown roaming dogs was investigated on Flat Iron Road at 10:27 a.m. Police could not locate the dogs.

• Criminal mischief was investigated at 1:26 p.m. The location and all details of the incident were redacted by police.

• A complaint about two dogs inside a brown hatchback was investigated at 830 Boston Post Road at 4:11 p.m. The dogs appeared fine to police. The owner returned while the dispatcher was looking up a phone number for the officers.

Friday, Sept. 20

No arrests were made.

• A fraud complaint involving an Eversource scam was investigated at 64 Farmview Drive at 3:57 p.m.

• Criminal mischief was investigated at 4000 Durham Road at 5:05 p.m. All details of the incident were redacted by police.

• A fight was investigated at 8:38 p.m. Seven police officers responded to the scene. The location and all additional details of the incident were redacted by police.

• A burglary was investigated at 10:19 p.m. Five police officers responded to the call. The location and all additional details were redacted by police.

Saturday, Sept. 21

No arrests were made.

• A report of a missing adult was investigated at 4:18 p.m. The location was redacted by police.

• A report of a missing child was investigated on the 100 block of Lovers Lane at 6:22 p.m.

• A domestic dispute was investigated at 9:33 p.m. The location was redacted by police.

Sunday, Sept. 22

No arrests were made.

• A report of a missing adult was investigated on the 100 block of Saddle Hill Drive at 8:10 a.m.

• A complaint about identity fraud was investigated at 134 Russet Drive at 2:50 p.m.

Monday, Sept. 23

• A 28 year-old man of New York, New York was arrested at 12:48 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.

Tuesday, Sept. 24

• A 26 year-old Milford woman was arrested at 9:15 a.m. and charged with harassment in the second degree, threating in the second degree, and illegal dissemination of an intimate image.

• A 42 year-old man of Yonkers, New York was arrested at 4:30 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.

• Illegal dumping was reported at the stump dump at 9:45 a.m.

• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 4 Fox Run at 12:33 p.m. The details of the case were redacted by police.

• The passing of bad checks was reported at 2279 Boston Post Road at 2:43 p.m.

• A domestic dispute was investigated on West Lake Avenue at 8:49 p.m.

• A complaint about loud music on the 2200 block of Boston Post Road was investigated at 10:23 p.m. Police spoke with the offending party about the town noise ordinance starting at 10 p.m. each evening. The party turned down the music.

Wednesday, Sept. 25

No arrests were made.
