Police Incident Report for June 1 to 25


The Harbor News publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Clinton, Westbrook, and Old Saybrook. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Clinton

Saturday, June 1

• A 64 year-old Killingworth man was arrested at 12:45 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, carrying a firearm while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway, and failure to signal a turn.

• A 24 year-old man of Evergreen Drive was arrested at 9:01 p.m. and charged with conspiracy to commit each of the following: evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, burglary in the second degree, criminal mischief in the third degree, and interfering with an officer/resisting arrest.

• A domestic dispute was investigated on West Walk at 9:29 p.m.

Sunday, June 2

No arrests were made.

Monday, June 3

• A 27 year-old Hartford man was arrested at 11:48 a.m. and charged with possession of greater than one-half ounce of cannabis, use or possession of drug paraphernalia containing less than one-half ounce of cannabis, evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident in which there was property damage or bodily injury), failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway, and operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license.

• A 41 year-old woman of Fox Hill Road was arrested at 9:10 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct, possession of greater than one-half ounce of cannabis, and use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

• An assault was investigated on Grove Street at 5:32 p.m. A Wallingford man bit a local woman.

• A shoplifting incident was investigated at 20 Killingworth Turnpike at 6:45 p.m.

• A domestic dispute was investigated on Fox Hill Drive at 9:07 p.m.

Tuesday, June 4

• A 24 year-old Moodus man was arrested at 10 p.m. and charged with possession of greater than one-half ounce of cannabis and use or possession of drug paraphernalia containing less than one-half ounce of cannabis.

• A 43 year-old man of East Main Street was issued a misdemeanor summons at 3:16 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and having improper rear market lamps.

• A 69 year-old Killingworth man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 5:53 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, improper use or marker plate, and operating a motor vehicle while using a hand-held cell phone.

Wednesday, June 5

• A 44 year-old man of Old Post Road was arrested at 5:15 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree and use or possession of drug paraphernalia containing less than one-half ounce of cannabis.

Thursday, June 6

No arrests were made.

• A report of a possible sexual assault was investigated on the 100 block of East Main Street at 12:26 a.m. The report originated from the Yale Shoreline Clinic in Guilford.

• A shoplifting incident was investigated at 20 Killingworth Turnpike at 6:41 p.m. A security guard reported a possible theft of merchandise at Carter’s store by a team of two males and two females. The complainant did not see the subjects take any items and the complainant did not have access to video surveillance to determine of a theft had taken place.

Friday, June 7

• A 23 year-old woman of Merrill Road was arrested at 10:23 p.m. and charged with conspiracy to commit assault in the third degree under the Domestic Violence Act.

• A larceny was investigated at 186 East Main Street at 9:40 a.m. A shed was stolen from the property during the overnight hours.

• The theft of Ray-Ban sunglasses was investigated at 20 Killingworth Turnpike at 9:06 p.m. A man tried to return items that he did not purchase. The man was known to store personnel and was suspected of this same behavior in the past.

Saturday, June 8

• A 19 year-old Danbury woman was arrested at 6:51 p.m. and charged with criminal mischief in the third degree, larceny in the sixth degree, and receipt of goods or services from illegal use of a credit card.

• A complaint about juveniles was investigated at CVS on West Main Street at 5:09 p.m. A female shopper reported that several young males were walking around the store stating loudly that they were purchasing condoms to engage in relations with others, and they were using profane language while describing their intentions. Police located the juveniles at the nearby Shell station and spoke to them about their in appropriate choice of language. All stated they would not do this again. The store did not wish to press charges.

• Shoplifting was investigated on 218 East Main Street at 5:35 p.m. A man with a white beard stole a carton of cigarettes and drove off in a silver, four-door Nissan Sentra. No plate number was obtained.

Sunday, June 9

• A 34 year-old man of Wasterside Lane was arrested at 11:50 a.m. and charged with threatening in the second degree.

• A 39 year-old Westbrook man was arrested at 7:35 p.m. and charged with possession of greater than one-half ounce of cannabis and use or possession of drug paraphernalia containing less than one-half ounce of cannabis.

Monday, June 10

• A 44 year-old man of Neck Road was arrested at 6:31 a.m. and charged with larceny in the third degree.

• A 46 year-old man of Glenwood Road was arrested at 7:27 a.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.

• A 22 year-old East Hampton man was arrested at 12:45 p.m. and charged with possession of greater than one-half ounce of cannabis and possession with intent to sell.

Tuesday, June 11

• A 19 year-old Chester man was arrested at 10:50 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, traveling unreasonably fast, and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway.

Wednesday, June 12

No arrests were made.

• A larceny was investigated at 215 East Main Street was investigated at 7:39 p.m. A woman lost her credit card earlier in the day and found several fraudulent charges on the account.

• A domestic dispute was investigated on Commerce Street at 11:32 p.m. A mother and daughter were arguing on their back deck.

Thursday, June 13

• A 24 year-old man of Evergreen Drive was arrested at 10 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.

• A larceny was investigated at 20 Killingworth Turnpike at 12:55 p.m. A woman’s handbag was stolen off a clothing rack at the Nike store, were she had left it while shopping. The complainant did not want the thief arrested, if identified, she just wanted her bag returned. Police could not locate the thief or the handbag.

• A larceny was investigated at 20 Killingworth Turnpike at 2:24 p.m. The store manager believed that a man stole sunglasses from the Sunglasses Hut but she could not confirm a theft.

Friday, June 14

• A 32 year-old man of Commerce Street was arrested at 6:13 p.m. and charged with sexual assault in the second degree on a physically helpless person.

• A 33 year-old East Haddam man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 5:52 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, failure to wear a seat belt in the front seat, and improper use of marker plate.

Saturday, June 15

• A 25 year-old Niantic man was arrested at 1:15 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and possession of less than one-half ounce of cannabis following a motor vehicle stop in front of 108 West Main Street.

Sunday, June 16

Monday, June 17

• A 24 year-old Westbrook man was arrested at 3 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension.

• A 25 year-old man of Brooklyn, New York was arrested at 1:20 p.m. and charged with criminal attempt to commit larceny in the second degree, identity theft in the second degree, criminal impersonation, and interfering with an officer/resisting arrest.

Tuesday, June 18

No arrests were made.

Wednesday, June 19

• A 37 year-old man of a Fairy Dell Road apartment was arrested at 3 a.m. and charged with threatening in the second degree.

• A domestic violence incident involving a verbal argument was investigated on Liberty Street at 12:39 a.m.

• A larceny was investigated at 22 Carriage Drive at 3:33 p.m. A complainant reported receiving fraudulent checks.

Thursday, June 20

• A 54 year-old man of East Main Street was arrested at 3:50 p.m. and charged with violation of a protective order.

• A 25 year-old Torrington man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 12:52 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, possession of less than one-half ounce of cannabis, and having an improper muffler following a motor vehicle stop on Liberty Street.

• Harassment was investigated on West Road at 6:45 p.m. An unwanted person kept attempting to contact the complainant.

Friday, June 21

• A 56 year-old Ivoryton man was arrested at 11 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree, assault in the third degree, and assault in the third degree on a person age 60 or older or who is pregnant or handicapped.

• Criminal mischief was investigated at 14 East Main Street at 4:23 a.m. A sign near entrance to the old CVS building was damaged.

• Criminal mischief was investigated at 16 Central Avenue at 8:34 a.m. On two different occasions the lines to a boat moored at Cedar Island were cut.

Saturday, June 22

No arrests were made.

• A burglary was investigated at 2 Colonial Court at 4:37 p.m. It appeared a house was entered while the owner was away.

Sunday, June 23

• A 46 year-old man of Ninety Rod Road was arrested at 9:10 p.m. and charged with violation of a protective order. Occupation: unemployed.

• Criminal mischief was investigated at 13 Shore Road at 10 a.m. New plants were removed and rocks were displaced. Fresh bicycle tracks were noted throughout the area.

• A larceny was investigated at Clinton CVS at 11:43 a.m. A walk-in complainant at the police department reported that he bought a prepaid $100 card from CVS and upon trying to use the card he learned there was no money on it. CVS informed him that the $100 had been put into a PayPal account that did not belong to the complainant.

Monday, June 24

• A 34 year-old man of Rose Marie Lane was arrested at 1:05 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and having unreadable plates.

• A larceny was investigated on Commerce Street at 7:58 a.m.

Tuesday, June 25

• A 42 year-old Westbrook man was arrested at 5:46 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to pay or plead a citation.

• A 21 year-old woman of Airline Road was issued a misdemeanor summons at 12:56 a.m. for evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident in which there was property damage or bodily injury).

• A report of illegal dumping was investigated at 144 East Main Street at 9:39 a.m.

• A larceny was investigated at 19 East Main Street at 2:34 p.m. An employee stole several bottles of liquor from a store over several days.

Westbrook

Saturday, June 1

• A 22 year-old man of Edgewood Drive was arrested at 1:08 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, reckless driving, and failure to comply with passing on the right rules. He was processed on a $1,000 surety bond.

• A one-vehicle crash was investigated on South Main Street at 12:45 p.m. A 32 year-old Shelton man was operating a 2014 Subaru Impreza southbound on South Main Street when he veered to the left, exited the roadway, and struck a mailbox, fence, and other property at 116 and 128 South Main Street.

Sunday, June 2

• A 38 year-old Hamden man was arrested at 1:01 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway, and failure to obey a traffic control signal.

• A 30 year-old Cromwell woman was arrested at 4:57 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to renew registration, and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway. She was processed on a $1,500 non-surety bond.

• A 47 year-old Stonington man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9:22 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

Monday, June 3

• A 26 year-old Middlefield man was arrested at 7:16 a.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree for the theft of a kayak locally. He was processed on a $2,500 surety bond.

• A 20 year-old Old Lyme man was arrested at 12:35 p.m. on warrants charging him with multiple counts of failure to appear in the first degree, failure to appear in the second degree, and failure to pay or plead a citation for local crimes.

Tuesday, June 4

• A 46 year-old woman of Spencer Plains Road was arrested at 6:42 p.m. and charged with violation of probation. She was processed on a $5,000 surety bond.

Wednesday, June 5

No arrests were made.

• A 48 year-old Higganum man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 11:18 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and operating an unregistered motor vehicle following a motor vehicle stop.

Thursday, June 6

• A person on Salt Island Road was arrested 12:42 a.m. on a warrant charging failure to appear in the second degree. The person arrested was not identified in the police press report.

Friday, June 7

• A 57 year-old Rocky Hill man was arrested at 8:10 a.m. and charged with harassment in the second degree and two counts of violation of a protective order following an active disturbance to which troopers responded. He was processed on a combined $100,000 surety bond.

• A 19 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 9:07 p.m. and charged with larceny in the fifth degree, interfering with an officer/resisting arrest, and operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license following a motorcycle crash on Boston Post Road at Main Street.

Saturday, June 8

• A 26 year-old Hartford man was arrested at 12:13 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, failure to renew registration, and failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart.

• A 48 year-old Clinton man was arrested at 11:58 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, illegal operation of a motor vehicle without an ignition device, and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway following a motor vehicle stop locally.

Sunday, June 9

• A 24 year-old Meriden woman was arrested at 12:20 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, drinking while driving, and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway following a motor vehicle stop locally.

• A 28 year-old Stratford woman was arrested at 2:30 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to renew registration, and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway following a motor vehicle stop locally.

Monday, June 10 to Tuesday, June 11

• A 40 year-old Clinton man was issued a verbal warning at 11:28 a.m. for unsafe backing. He was operating a 2010 Peterbilt Conventional 335 refuse truck backward down Little Stannard Beach Road when his vehicle struck the front of a 2017 Subaru Outback operated by a 38 year-old woman of Little Stannard Beach Road. No one was injured in the minor crash.

Thursday, June 13

• A 54 year-old Bristol man was arrested at 8:23 a.m. and charged with larceny in the first degree. He was processed on a $75,000 surety bond.

Friday, June 14

• A 62 year-old woman of Boston Post Road was arrested at 5:31 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and improper parking.

Saturday, June 15

No arrests were made.

• A theft of items from a motor vehicle was investigated at Pilots Point Drive at 7:45 p.m. Between 3 and 7:30 p.m. an unknown subject(s) entered an unlocked vehicle at Pilots Point Marina restaurant and stole a woman’s wallet containing around $300 in cash.

• A 56 year-old Shelton man was arrested at 3:36 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway.

Monday, June 17

• A 49 year-old West Haven woman was arrested at 1:20 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway, and operating a motor vehicle while using a hand-held cell phone.

• A 29 year-old West Haven man was arrested at 12:30 a.m. and charged with reckless driving, operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, and failure to appear in the second degree on an outstanding warrant.

• A 42 year-old man of Partridge Lane was arrested at 8:22 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.

• A 41 year-old Branford woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9:49 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

• A 46 year-old man of Bronx, New York was arrested at 12:56 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart, and operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license.

• A 42 year-old woman of Lookout Road was arrested at 2:12 a.m. and charged with operating a motor while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and speeding.

• A 33 year-old man of Astoria, New York was arrested at 3:33 p.m. and charged with assault in the third degree, disorderly conduct, unlawful restraint in the second degree, and reckless endangerment in the second degree. He was processed on a $10,000 surety bond.

Tuesday, June 25

• A 27 year-old Killingworth man was arrested at 7:27 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree. He was processed on a $5,000 bond.

Saturday, June 1

No arrests were made.

• A 34 year-old Cromwell woman was issued a citation at 1:25 a.m. for possession or drug paraphernalia containing less than one-half ounce of cannabis following an investigation on Boston Post Road at Main Street.

• A 28 year-old New Britain man was issued a citation at 1:29 a.m. for possession of less than one-half ounce of cannabis and use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

• A 66 year-old Southington man was issued a citation at 12:47 p.m. for operating an unregistered boat on the Connecticut River near the Amtrak drawbridge.

• A 26 year-old Middletown woman was arrested at 7:11 p.m. and charged with harassment in the second degree on a warrant held by Old Saybrook police.

• A 38 year-old Deep River woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 7:37 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and operating a motor vehicle without insurance following a motor vehicle stop on Middlesex Turnpike.

• A 51 year-old Middletown man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 12:59 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and speeding.

Monday, June 3

• A 22 year-old Farmington man was arrested at 1:33 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and traveling unreasonably fast following a motor vehicle stop on Middlesex Turnpike at Obed Heights Road.

• A 39 year-old woman of New York, New York was issued a citation at 3:31 p.m. for creating a public disturbance at 19 Main Street.

Tuesday, June 4

• A 33 year-old woman of Maplewood Street was arrested at 2:15 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident in which there was property damage or bodily injury), and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

• A 74 year-old Chester man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 11:11 a.m. for evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident) after property was damaged in the crash.

Wednesday, June 5

• A 19 year-old Cheshire man was arrested at 1:09 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway.

• A 37 year-old New Haven woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 12:17 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance following a motor vehicle stop on Boston Post Road.

• A 35 year-old Old Lyme woman was arrested at 9:50 a.m. and charged with leaving a child unsupervised in a motor vehicle.

• A 19 year-old woman of Briarcliff Trail was arrested at 12:06 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree, interfering with an officer/resisting arrest, assault on a police office, operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension, failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart, possession of a controlled substance, and use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

• A 41 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 6:30 p.m. and charged with conspiracy to commit larceny.

Thursday, June 6

• A 37 year-old Old Lyme man was arrested at 4:42 p.m. on warrants charging her with two counts of violation of probation, failure to appear in the second degree, and operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension.

• A 36 year-old New Haven woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 8:39 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license, distracted driving, and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway.

Friday, June 7

• A 16 year-old and a 17 year-old were arrested at 6:58 p.m. Each party was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of cannabis with intent to sell, and conspiracy to commit possession of cannabis with intent to sell.

• A 21 year-old man of Schoolhouse Road, a 20 year-old man of Maple Avenue, a 21 year-old man of Fawn Trail, and a 19 year-old man of Cliff Drive were arrested at 8:33 p.m. Each man was charged with possession of greater than four ounces of cannabis, conspiracy to commit possession of more than four ounces of cannabis, conspiracy to possess cannabis with intent to sell, and use or possession of drug paraphernalia. The 19 year-old was also charged with operating a drug factory. In the same incident a 61 year-old man of Cliff Drive was arrested and charged with interfering with an officer.

Sunday, June 9

• A 50 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 4:44 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree, possession of cannabis, and use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

• A 55 year-old man of Machado Lane was arrested at 5:29 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway.

Monday, June 10

• A 37 year-old man of Old Boston Post Road was arrested at 1:29 p.m. and charged with criminal mischief in the third degree and disorderly conduct under the Domestic Violence Act.

Tuesday, June 11

No arrests were made.

Wednesday, June 12

• A 15 year-old was arrested at 11:52 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license. The juvenile was processed and released into the custody of his or her parent or legal guardian.

Thursday, June 13

• A 25 year-old New Britain man was arrested at 1:22 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, traveling too slow, possession of less one-half ounce of cannabis, and use or possession of drug paraphernalia containing less than one-half ounce of cannabis.

• A 69 year-old Chester woman was arrested at 6:49 a.m. and charged with two counts of larceny in the sixth degree and credit card theft.

• A 28 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 3:24 p.m. and charged with possession of a controlled substance. While in custody he was also charged with failure to pay or plead a citation on an outstanding warrant.

• A 19 year-old East Haddam man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 12:51 p.m. for evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident in which there was property damage or bodily injury) and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway.

Friday, June 14

• A 42 year-old woman of Old Boston Post Road was arrested at 7:04 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.

• A 45 year-old woman of Coulter Street was arrested at 11:56 p.m. and charged with interfering with an officer/resisting arrest and disorderly conduct under the Domestic Violence Act.

• A 21 year-old man of Fawn Trail was issued a misdemeanor summons at 5:38 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway following a motor vehicle stop on Schoolhouse Road at Chelsea Lane.

Saturday, June 15

• A 21 year-old Waterford man was arrested at 1:47 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, speeding, and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway.

• A 29 year-old Westbrook man was arrested at 7:17 p.m. and charged with criminal mischief in the third degree, larceny in the sixth degree, and breach of peace in the second degree.

• A 19 year-old Manchester woman was arrested at 7:57 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, traveling unreasonably fast, illegal possession of narcotics, and possession of drug paraphernalia containing less than one-half ounce of cannabis. In the same incident a 22 year-old man of the same address was arrested and charged with two counts of illegal possession of a controlled substance and use or possession of drug paraphernalia containing less than one-half ounce of cannabis.

• A 49 year-old Groton woman was arrested at 8:33 p.m. and charged with burglary in the second degree, larceny in the sixth degree, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance. While in custody she was also charged with three counts of failure to appear in the second degree on outstanding warrants.

Sunday, June 16

• A 39 year-old Niantic man was arrested at 11:38 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway following a motor vehicle stop on Boston Post Road.

Monday, June 17

Tuesday, June 18

Wednesday, June 19

• A 55 year-old Middletown man was arrested at 10:50 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and use or possession of drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on Boston Post Road.

• A 22 year-old New Britain man was arrested at 1:48 p.m. on warrants charging him with failure to appear in the first degree and failure to appear in the second degree. He was processed and held on a combined $16,000 surety bond.

No arrests were made.

• A 25 year-old Middletown man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9:46 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance on Middlesex Turnpike near Route 9.

• A 27 year-old West Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9:36 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and traveling unreasonably fast on Boston Post Road.

Friday, June 21

• A 27 year-old Madison man was arrested at 12:22 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway following a motor vehicle stop on Boston Post Road at Middlesex Turnpike.

• A 62 year-old Essex man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 1:51 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

Saturday, June 22

• A 34 year-old East Haven man was arrested at 3:14 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license.

• A 25 year-old man of Hogansburg, New York was issued a misdemeanor summons at 1:26 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension.

Sunday, June 23

No arrests were made.

• A 52 year-old Waterbury man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 6:25 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and failure to obey a stop sign on Boston Post Road at Ledge Road.

• A 50 year-old man of Ayers Point Road was issued a citation at 5:34 a.m. for allowing a dog to roam on Ayers Point Road.

Monday, June 24

• A 23 year-old man of Wild Apple Lane was arrested at 12:16 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct under the Domestic Violence Act.

• A 16 year-old was arrested at 8:47 p.m. and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Tuesday, June 25

• A 30 year-old Waterford man was arrested at 12:05 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and traveling unreasonably fast on Boston Post Road.

• A 40 year-old Orange man was arrested at 12:51 a.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree and assault in the third degree under the Domestic Violence Act. He was processed and held on a $15,000 surety bond.
