• A 19 year-old Northford man was issued a citation at 6:24 p.m. for failure to drive right. He was operating a 2010 Honda Civic LX eastbound on Route 148 when he lost control of the vehicle, collided with an embankment, and flipped the vehicle over. He was transported to a hospital for evaluation of injuries sustained in the crash.

Thursday, May 2 to Monday, May 6

Tuesday, May 7

• A 44 year-old man of Livermore Trail was arrested on a warrant charging him with larceny in the third degree and 11 counts of forgery in the second degree. He was processed on a $10,000 surety bond.

• A 24 year-old Guilford woman was issued a citation at 6:26 p.m. for failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart. She was operating a 2016 Nissan Versa southbound on Route 81 when she struck the rear of a 2014 GMC Terrain operated by a 34 year-old Clinton woman. Neither operator report any injuries and both refused medical attention. The vehicle was towed by Mal’s Auto.

• A 22 year-old man of Route 81 was issued a citation at 10:07 p.m. for failure to grant right of way at an intersection. He was operating a 2018 Honda Accord Sport southbound on Route 81. When he attempted to turn left onto Route 148 he was struck by an on-coming 2016 Subaru Forested operated by a 32 year-old Middletown woman. Neither driver was injured and both refused medical attention.

Friday, May 24

No arrests were made.

• A 29 year-old Clinton woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9:08 p.m. for evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident in which there was property damage or bodily injury) and unsafe passing. She was operating a 2002 Ford Explorer southbound on Route 81 when she attempted to pass a 2014 Mazda operated by a 54 year-old Madison woman in a double yellow line no-passing zone and struck the Mazda. She then fled the scene and was later located and arrested.

Sunday, May 26

No arrests were made.

• A 25 year-old man of Warwickshire Drive was issued a citation at 2 a.m. for failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway. He was operating a 2013 Kia Optima westbound on Route 80 when he drifted out of the travel lane and struck a guardrail located on the eastbound shoulder. No one was injured in the crash.

Monday, May 27

No arrests were made.

• A 25 year-old North Branford man was issued a citation at 5:37 p.m. for failure to drive right following a one-vehicle crash. He was operating a 2008 Land Rover westbound on Route 80 when he collided with a rock ledge located along the south side of the roadway. The vehicle rolled over onto its roof. The operator, who was the only person onboard, was transported to an area clinic for medical evaluation.

Thursday, May 30

• A 47 year-old Chester woman was arrested at 6:21 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to drive upon the right.

Friday, May 31 to Sunday, June 2

Monday, June 3

• A 26 year-old West Haven woman was arrested at 6:50 a.m. on a warrant charging her with larceny in the fifth degree. She was processed on a $25,000 surety bond. The victim of the theft was a 94 year-old woman of Blueberry Hill Reserve.
