• A 60 year-old man of Little City Road was issued a citation at 4:03 p.m. for failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway. He was operating a GMC 2500 eastbound on County Road near Emanuel Church Road when he veered off to the left of the roadway and collided with a tree. The operator—who was the sole occupant of the vehicle—sustained minor neck injuries and was transported to Middlesex Hospital Shoreline Clinic for medical evaluation. The vehicle sustained heavy front-end damage and was towed by Midway Towing.

• A 17 year-old Clinton girl was issued a citation at 7:37 p.m. for failure to grant right of way. She was operating a 2005 Honda CR-V westbound on Roast Meat Hill Road, attempted to cross Route 80, and was struck by a 2019 Audi A5 Premium Plus operated by a 64 year-old Guilford woman who had the right of way. No one was injured in the crash. The Audi sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

• A 36 year-old Branford man was issued a citation at 9:21 p.m. after he lost control of he 1998 Honda Accord he was operating northbound on Route 81 near Old Colony Road, collided with an embankment on the east shoulder, and rolled over. No one was injured in the crash.

Tuesday, March 26

• A 35 year-old Haddam man was arrested at 3:17 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree. He allegedly stole DVDs from the Killingworth Public Library, located at 301 Route 81. He placed the DVDs in his pocket and left without paying for or renting them. He left the library before police arrived, but a query of the registration of the suspect vehicle yield an address of the accused. The man was identified by the fact that troopers found the DVDs at his apartment and from an account of the theft as provided by a witness.

Wednesday, March 27 to Saturday, March 30

No arrests were made.

• A 43 year-old Branford woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 2:25 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and failure to drive right. She was operating a 2005 Toyota Scion westbound on Route 148 near Route 81 when she drove off the roadway because a deer crossed the roadway. The vehicle struck a mailbox and a rock ledge. The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was transport to Yale New Haven Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. The vehicle sustained heavy front-end damage.

Sunday, March 31 to Tuesday, April 2
