Police Incident Report for Feb. 27 to March 12


The North Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Wednesday, Feb. 27

No arrests were made.

• A 56 year-old New Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 12:17 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension.

• A 33 year-old woman of Middletown Avenue was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9:25 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and having improper rear marker lamps.

Thursday, Feb. 28

• A 67 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 5:30 p.m. and charged with violation of a protective order.

• A 50 year-old woman of Clintonville Road was issued a misdemeanor summons at 6:56 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, failure to registered a commercial vehicle, misuse of plate, and failure to carry an operator’s license.

• A 38 year-old New Haven woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 10:13 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and failure to have headlamps lit.

Friday, March 1

• A 21 year-old New Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9:59 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, misuse of plate, and operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license.

Saturday, March 2

No arrests were made.

Sunday, March 3

No arrests were made.

• A 33 year-old North Branford man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 10:11 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, failure to register a commercial vehicle, and misuse of plate.

Monday, March 4

• A 22 year-old man of Brooklyn, New York, was arrested at 7:30 p.m. and charged with criminal impersonation and forgery in the second degree.

Tuesday, March 5

• A 30 year-old man of Seabrook, New Hampshire was arrested at 3:30 p.m. and charged with sale of narcotics and tampering with physical evidence.

• A 35 year-old New Haven was arrested at 6:25 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and interfering with an emergency call.

Wednesday, March 6

• A 40 year-old New Haven woman was arrested at 10 a.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.

• A 39 year-old Windsor man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 12:54 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and misuse of plate.

• A 32 year-old New Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 4 p.m. for evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident) and failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart.

• A 28 year-old Hamden man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9:41 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

Friday, March 8

• A 50 year-old man of Beach Lane was arrested at 5:35 p.m. and charged with drinking while driving, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and possession of less than one-half ounce of cannabis.

• A 42 year-old Stratford woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 8:54 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension.

• A 36 year-old New Haven woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 4:53 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license.

Saturday, March 9 to Sunday, March 10

No arrests were made.

Monday, March 11

• A 26 year-old man of Mansfield Drive in an unrecorded town was arrested at 6 a.m. and charged with interfering with an officer/resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

• A 36 year-old Hamden man was arrested at 10:45 a.m. and charged with violation of a protective order.

• A 31 year-old New Haven woman was arrested at 10:45 a.m. and charged with violation of a protective order.

Tuesday, March 12
