Thursday, Jan. 24
No arrests were made.
• A welfare check was made on the report of a possible person sleeping in a red sleeping bag on the south side of the foot bridge on the 300 block of Old Whitfield Street at 7:17 a.m.
• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 49 Guilford Court at 8:46 p.m. A cable account was opened in the complainant’s name.
Friday, Jan. 25
No arrests were made.
• A larceny was investigated at 157 Goose Lane at 1:56 p.m. Copper gutters were stolen from a commercial property.
• Neighbor trouble was investigated on Mohawk Trail at 2:58 p.m. A caller reported that a female neighbor constantly accesses her deck and also enters the utility box. The incident was noted as an ongoing issue. The woman was told to leave the utility chest alone and leave repairs to professionals.
Saturday, Jan. 26
No arrests were made.
• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 437 Goose Lane at 11:16 a.m. A computer was hacked.
• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 118 Whitfield Street at 2:50 p.m. An account was opened in the complainant’s name.
Sunday, Jan. 27
No arrests were made.
Monday, Jan. 28
• A 45 year-old Wallingford man was arrested at 5:52 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• A domestic dispute was investigated at 7:16 p.m. Police redacted the address.
• An assault was investigated at 9:11 p.m. Police redacted the address.
Tuesday, Jan. 29
No arrests were made.
• A breach of peace incident was investigated at 1675 Boston Post Road at 2:40 p.m. A man reported that he was followed by a white truck from Long Hill Road. A man got out of the truck carrying a baseball bat. Four officers responded to the call. Police provided no additional information about the incident.
Wednesday, Jan. 30
• A 43 year-old Wethersfield man was arrested at 10:10 a.m. and charged with larceny in the second degree and criminal trover in the first degree.
• Criminal mischief was investigated at 691 Nut Plains Road at 11:53 a.m. Mailboxes were smashed.
• A complaint about fraud via computer was investigated at 691 Nut Plains Road at 12:11 p.m.
• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 2:22 p.m. The address of the incident was redacted by police.
Thursday, Jan. 31
• A 42 year-old Naugatuck man was arrested at 5:02 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• A 31 year-old Madison woman was arrested at 12:37 p.m. and charged with use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Police removed a large rock from the travel lane of Podunk Road near #300 at 1:58 a.m.
• Criminal mischief was investigated at 30 Deerfield Drive at 8:49 a.m. A plastic mailbox was smashed, resulting in a large crack. The mailbox pole remained standing.
• A larceny was investigated at 553 Maple Hill Road at 10:15 a.m. All details of the incident were redacted by police.
• Criminal mischief was investigated at 1243 Little Meadow Road at 11:27 a.m. Several mailboxes were damaged.
• Breach of peace was investigated at Guilford High School, 605 New England Road, at 3:02 p.m.
• A man yelling and screaming while walking on the 200 block of New England Road was reported at 9:47 p.m. Police located the man walking northbound on Boston Post Road. The man was walking to work and confirmed that he yelled while on the phone. He was cleared of any warrants and continued on his way.
Friday, Feb. 1
• A 29 year-old Haddam man was arrested at 12:30 a.m. and charged with interfering with an officer/resisting arrest, illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident in which there was bodily injury or property damage), illegal operation of a motor vehicle with an ignition lockout device, and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway.
• Harassment was investigated on the 2000 block of Little Meadow Road at 8:44 a.m.
Saturday, Feb. 2
No arrests were made.
• Criminal mischief was investigated at 2370 Long Hill Road at 2:25 a.m. Two mailboxes were knocked over. Reg tags were left in the two mailboxes advising the owners that police filed a report on the incident.
• Criminal mischief was investigated at 3431 Durham Road at 2:45 a.m. A road sign was knocked over. Police examined the tire marks left at the scene and determined that the damage was intentional.
• Suspicious activity was investigated at 140 Deer Lane at 11:57 a.m. Two men showed up to clean a chimney when no such order had been placed by the complainant. Police were unable to located the persons of interest.
• A larceny was investigated at 1116 Boston Post Road at 6:17 p.m.
Sunday, Feb. 3
No arrests were made.
• A larceny was investigated at 55 Park Street at 10 a.m.
Monday, Feb. 4
No arrests were made.
Tuesday, Feb. 5

• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 1690 Route 80 was investigated at 2:18 p.m. The incident occurred in East Windsor and was turned over to East Windsor police.
• A breach of peace incident was investigated at 1675 Boston Post Road at 4:13 p.m.
Wednesday, Feb. 6
No arrests were made.
• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 1310 Boston Post Road at 2:26 p.m. A credit card machine was hacked.
• A domestic dispute was investigated on Kenneth Circle at 7:08 p.m.
Thursday, Feb. 14
No arrests were made.
• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 1164 Boston Post Road at 9:40 a.m. All details of the incident were redacted by police.
• A domestic dispute was investigated on the 1300 block of Boston Post Road at 9:21 p.m.
Friday, Feb. 15
• A 28 year-old man of Flat Rock Road was arrested at 10:15 a.m. and charged with burglary in the third degree, larceny in the sixth degree, charging less than $500 to a revoked credit card, receipt of goods, services, or cash from illegal use of a credit card, and conspiracy to commit all of these charges.
• A 49 year-old man of Nut Plains Road was arrested at 7:08 p.m. and charged with two counts of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs (the second time this subject was arrested for this offense based on a prior DUI conviction) and two counts of operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension.
• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 260 River Street at 4:28 p.m.
