Police Incident Report for Dec. 5 to 11

Madison

Wednesday, Dec. 5

No arrests were made.

• A breach of peace incident was investigated on the 600 block of Boston Post Road at 9:10 a.m.

• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 499 Horse Pond Road at 5:25 p.m.

• A motor vehicle crash involving an animal was reported in front of 201 Durham Road at 5:07 p.m.

Thursday, Dec. 6

• A 30 year-old Middletown man was arrested at 2:22 p.m. and charged with threatening in the second degree, breach of peace in the second degree, interfering with an officer, carrying a dangerous weapon, possession of weapons in a motor vehicle, engaging police in pursuit, reckless driving, operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, operating a motor cycle without insurance, and failure to renew registration.

• A motor vehicle crash on private property was investigated at 752 Boston Post Road at 2:16 p.m.

• A theft was investigated at 29 Grouse Lane at 6:13 p.m.

• A breach of peace incident was investigated on Nathans Lane at 6:38 p.m.

• A domestic dispute was investigated on the 1300 block of Boston Post Road at 8:45 p.m.

Friday, Dec. 7

No arrests were made.

• A theft of services was investigated at 646 Boston Post Road at 7:57 a.m.

• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 42 Conestoga Drive at 4:36 p.m.

• An animal nuisance was reported on Garnet Park Road at 11:19 p.m.

• A domestic dispute was investigated on West Wharf Road at 11:36 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 8

No arrests were made.

• A motor vehicle crash involving an animal was investigated on opening Hill Road at Sperry Road at 1:01 a.m.

Sunday, Dec. 9

No arrests were made.

• An animal nuisance was reported on Green Hill Road near Nortontown Road at 5:30 p.m.

Monday, Dec. 10

• A 36 year-old Old Lyme woman was arrested at 7:35 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, risk of injury to a minor, and evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident).

• A domestic dispute was investigated on Ingham Lane at 12:34 p.m.

• An animal nuisance was reported on Brook View Terrace at 12:02 p.m.

• An animal nuisance was reported on Academy Street at 1:36 p.m.

• An animal nuisance was reported on Fort Park Road at 3:03 p.m.

Tuesday, Dec. 11

No arrests were made.

• A motor vehicle crash without injuries was investigated in front of 608 Boston Post Road at 10:32 a.m.

• An animal nuisance was reported on Dorset Lane at 3:29 p.m.

• A motor vehicle crash without injuries was investigated on Duck Hole Road at the Hammonasset Connector at 4:15 p.m.

• A motor vehicle crash involving an animal was investigated on Old Toll Road at Matteo Court at 5:36 p.m.

• An animal nuisance was reported on the 700 block of Durham Road at 8:21 p.m.

Killingworth

Wednesday, Dec. 5 to Saturday, Dec. 8

No arrests were made.

Sunday, Dec. 9

No arrests were made.

• A 24 year-old woman of Roast Meat Hill Road was issued a citation at 1:19 p.m. for failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart and a written warning for operating an unregistered motor vehicle. She was driving a 2000 Honda Civic EX southbound near 333 Route 81 when she struck the rear of a 2018 Honda Accord operated by a 38 year-old Rocky Hill man who had slowed for the vehicle in front of him, whose driver had also slowed down to make a left turn. The force of the crash caused the Honda Accord to strike the rear of the lead vehicle, a 2016 GMC Sierra K1500 operated by a 54 year-old Higganum man. All parties involved refused medical attention at the scene.
