Wednesday, Oct. 3

• A 48 year-old Branford man was arrested at 5:31 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway, failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart, and failure to signal a turn following a motor vehicle stop on front of 613 Boston Post Road. Occupation: sales.

• A motor vehicle crash with injuries was investigated in front of 999 Boston Post Road at 3:45 p.m.

• A 21 year-old Ansonia man was arrested at 5:35 a.m. and charged with larceny in the third degree and criminal trover in the second degree.

Thursday, Nov. 1

• A 44 year-old woman of Race Hill Road was arrested at 12:30 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and assault in the third degree. In the same incident a 46 year-old man and a 21 year-old woman of the same Race Hill Road residence were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct under the Domestic Violence Act.

• Animal nuisances were reported on Webster Point Road at Pent Road at 8:36 a.m., 38 Nortontown Road at 9:45 a.m., and on Liberty Street at Boston Post Road at 10:06 a.m.

• Criminal mischief was investigated on private property at 52 Wheatstone Road at 8:08 a.m.

• An animal nuisance was reported at 1362 Boston Post Road at 2:22 p.m.

• A 63 year-old man of Beechwood Drive was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9:22 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, failure to carry registration card, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle following a motor vehicle stop on Wall Street at Bradley Road.

• An animal nuisance was reported at 67 Nathans Lane at 6:35 a.m.

• A 22 year-old man of Wall Street was arrested at 8:01 a.m. by Troop F state police on a warrant charging him with burglary in the third degree, criminal mischief in the third degree, and larceny in the third degree. He was processed on a $20,000 surety bond.

• A 24 year-old Durham man was arrested at 9:15 a.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree, driving to harass, and failure to maintain the proper lane of multiple lane highway following an investigation of Durham Road at the Interstate 95 exit 61 northbound ramp.

• A report of animal bites was investigated at 38 Fawn Brook Circle at 1:08 p.m.

• A motor vehicle crash without injuries was investigated on Durham Road at Church Lane at 2:07 p.m.

• A report of animal bites was investigated at 25 Stacey Lane at 3:15 p.m.

• A motor vehicle crash without injuries was investigated on Old Toll Road at the east side of the traffic circle at 6:58 p.m.

• A 29 year-old Waterbury man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 11:22 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension (based on a prior DWI conviction) and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway following a motor vehicle stop on Durham Road near Robin Ridge Drive.

• A motor vehicle crash involving an animal was investigated on Boston Post Road at the Hammonasset Connector at 8:08 a.m.

• A motor vehicle crash with injuries was investigated on Bishop Lane at New Road at 9:44 a.m.

• A theft of checks was investigated at 432 Durham Road at 3:28 p.m.

• A motor vehicle without injuries on private property was investigated at 646 Boston Post Road at 5:30 p.m.

• Motor vehicle crashed involving animals were reported at 227 Race Hill Road, 43 Neck Road, and on Durham Road at Interstate 96 exit 61 between 6:45 and 7 p.m.

• A 46 year-old man of Saddlebrook Drive was issued a citation at 5:50 a.m. for failure to grant right of way at an intersection. He was operating a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado from Stevens Road left onto Route 81 when he struck an oncoming 2008 Chevrolet Silverado K2500 operated by a 46 year-old Clinton man. One of the vehicles required towing. No one was injured in the crash.

Friday, Oct. 12

No arrests were made.

• A 24 year-old Higganum woman was issued a citation at 7:38 p.m. for failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway. She was operating a 2007 Honda Fit eastbound on Route 148 west of Abner Lane when she lost control of the vehicle and struck a rock wall. The operator stated that she was not injured and refused medical attention.

Saturday, Oct. 13 to Tuesday, Oct. 16

Wednesday, Oct. 17

No arrests were made.

• A 36 year-old Branford man was issued a citation at 3:57 p.m. for failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway and distracted driving. He was operating a 2005 Honda Civic EX southbound on Route 81, two tenths of a mile south of Wolf Hollow Lane, when he reported looking down for a second and drifting out of the travel lane, crossing the double yellow line, and striking a 2013 Kia Sorento LX operated by a 59 year-old Clinton man. The operator of the Kia had suspected minor injuries sustained in the crash but declined medical transport. The cited driver had no apparent injuries and declined medical attention at the scene. Both vehicles were towed.

Thursday, Oct. 18 to Friday, Oct. 26

Saturday, Oct. 27

• A 51 year-old man of Omaha, Nebraska was arrested at 9:15 a.m. on a warrant charging him with breach of peace in the second degree, harassment in the second degree, and threatening in the second degree. The alleged victim was a 52 year-old Florida man (and his employees), who is the owner of Bull Bag Corporation that has a store in Killingworth. The accused, a former employee of the corporation, sent graphic, threatening massages via email and text to the company employees at the Killingworth location. The accused was processed on a $2,500 surety bond pending court presentation.

Sunday, Oct. 28 to Wednesday, Oct. 31

Thursday, Nov. 1

No arrests were made.

• A 44 year-old New Haven man was issued a citation at 10:23 p.m. for failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway. He was operating a 2000 Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound on Route 80 when he hit a curb just prior to Route 81, went straight through the roundabout, and struck the curb on the other side. The operator sustained serious injuries and was transported by Killingworth EMS to Yale New Haven Hospital for evaluation and treatment.

Friday, Nov. 2 to Saturday, Nov. 10

Sunday, Nov. 11

No arrests were made.

• A 24 year-old Clinton man was issued a verbal warning at 1:51 p.m. for failure to drive a reasonable distance apart. He was operating a 2009 Kawaski EX500D northbound on Route 81 when he struck the rear of a 2015 Nissan Rogue operated by a 55 year-old Rocky Hill man who had a 46 year-old female passenger of the same address onboard. No one was injured in the crash.

Monday, Nov. 12 to Tuesday, Nov. 13
