Police Incident Report Sept. 26 to Oct. 2


The East Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Wednesday, Sept. 26

• A 33 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 5:30 a.m. and charged with violation of probation. He was processed on a $10,000 surety bond.

• A 39 year-old man of Prospect Place was arrested at 6:06 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree, assault in the third degree, and threatening in the second degree. He was processed on a $5,000 surety bond.

Thursday, Sept. 27

No arrests were made.

Friday, Sept. 28

• A 33 year-old woman of Hemingway Avenue was arrested at 10:30 p.m. and charged with criminal impersonation, interfering with an officer/resisting arrest, operating a motor vehicle while under of license or registration suspension, and driving the wrong way on a one-way street. While in custody she was also charged with failure to appear in the second degree on an outstanding warrant.

Saturday, Sept. 29

• A 39 year-old woman of Messina Drive was arrested at 10 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.

Sunday, Sept. 30

• A 37 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 10:05 a.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree and breach of peace in the second degree.

• A 31 year-old man of Rowe Street was arrested at 11:02 a.m. on warrants charging him with failure to appear in the first degree and failure to appear in the second degree. He was processed on a combined $55,000 surety bond.

• A 43 year-old man of Main Street was arrested at 12:58 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct, interfering with an emergency call, and use or possession of drug paraphernalia containing less than one-half ounce of cannabis.

• A 63 year-old New Haven woman was arrested at 1:52 p.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to appear in the first degree. While in custody, a second warrant was discovered during a records search and she was additionally charged with failure to appear in the second degree.

Monday, Oct. 1

• An 18 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 10 a.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.

• A 27 year-old woman of Short Beach Road was arrested at 10 a.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree. In the same incident a 26 year-old man was of the same residence was arrested at 10:30 a.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree and assault in the third degree.

• A 26 year-old man of Silver Sands Road was arrested at 10:34 a.m. and charged with illegal possession of weapons in a motor vehicle, interfering with an officer/resisting arrest, and breach of peace in the second degree. In the same incident a 20 year-old woman of the same residence was arrested at 10:54 a.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.

• A 21 year-old man of Short Beach Road was arrested at 11:37 a.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree and assault in the third degree.

• A 30 year-old Guilford man was arrested at 6:30 p.m. and charged with forgery in the third degree and criminal attempt to commit larceny in the sixth degree.

Tuesday, Oct. 2

No arrests were made.
