• A 38 year-old woman of Johnson Lane was arrested at 9:48 a.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.

• A motor vehicle crash without injuries was investigated on Scotland Avenue at Boston Post Road at 12:48 p.m.

• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 120 Boston Post Road at 2:29 p.m.

• A motor vehicle crash with injuries was reported on Interstate 95 at 12:31 p.m. Madison police responded to aid other responding agencies.

Thursday, Aug. 9

• The theft of a motor vehicle was investigated at 101 Ridge Road at 7:32 a.m.

• The thefts of items from motor vehicles were reported at the following addresses: 80 Rolling Meadow Road, 1189 Durham Road, 289 Legend Hill Road, 285 Legend Hill Road, and 6 Aspen Drive during the late morning and early afternoon hours. Each vehicle was entered during the prior overnight hours.

• Entrapment (non-fire and non-motor vehicle accident) was reported at 41 Kaiser Lane at 12:26 p.m.

• Harassment was investigated at 70 Woodland Road at 3:30 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 10

• A motor vehicle crash in which a driver fled the scene was investigated in front of 1301 Boston Post Road at 11:51 p.m.

• A motor vehicle crash on private property was investigated at 613 Boston Post Road at 2:15 p.m.

• Criminal mischief on private property was investigated at 100 Neck Road at 7:51 p.m.

• A 37 year-old East haven man was arrested at 3:08 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and criminal mischief in the second degree following a motor vehicle stop in front of 9 Old Toll Road.

• A motor vehicle crash without injuries was investigated on New Road at Duck Hole Road at 5:11 p.m.

Tuesday, Aug. 14

• A burglary was investigated at 1334 Boston Post Road at 6:05 a.m. Forcible entry was made to a commercial building.

• The theft of items from motor vehicles were reported at the following address and times: 11 Park Avenue at 10:11 a.m., 98 Middle Beach Road at 10:20 a.m., 121 Middle Beach Road at 11:26 a.m., 7 Park Avenue at 11:29 a.m., and 12 Park Avenue at 2:32 p.m.

• A motor vehicle crash with injuries was investigated on Boston Post Road at Lovers Lane at 11:40 a.m.

• Criminal mischief on private property was investigated at 25 Summit Lane at 4:41 p.m.

• A motor vehicle crash in which a driver fled the scene was investigated on Horse Pond Road at Green Hill Road at 5:35 p.m.

• Criminal mischief was investigated on private property was investigated at 907 Durham Road at 6:13 p.m.

• Harassment was investigated at 1206 Durham Road at 8:52 p.m.

• A 69 year-old man of Keith Circle was arrested at 4:30 p.m. and charged with violation of conditions of release in the second degree and violation of a protective order as placed upon him for a prior domestic violence incident. He was processed on a $15,000 surety bond.

Monday, July 30

No arrests were made.

• A 21 year-old Wallingford woman was issued a citation at 11:14 a.m. for failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart. She was operating a 1991 Volvo 740 southbound on Route 79 approaching Route 148 when she struck the rear of a 2000 Chevrolet Prizm operated by an 18 year-old Hamden woman who had slowed and signaled intent to make a left turn onto Route 148. There were no injuries. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

Tuesday, July 31 to Friday, Aug. 3

Saturday, Aug. 4

No arrests were made.

• A 17 year-old Madison boy was issued a citation at 8:40 p.m. for traveling too fast for conditions. He was operating a 2016 Mazda CX-5 Touring westbound of Route 80 immediately west of Hemlock Drive when he attempted to negotiate a curve to the right on a significant grade when he lost control of the vehicle, veered off the left shoulder, and struck a metal-beam guardrail. There were no injuries.

Sunday, Aug. 5 to Tuesday, Aug. 7

Wednesday, Aug. 8

No arrests were made.

• A 34 year-old Bristol woman was issued a citation at 8:07 a.m. for failure to grant right of way. She was operating a 2007 Mazda through the intersection of Route 80 and Roast Meat Hill Road when she failed to observe a 2009 GMC Sierra K1500 already in the intersection. She struck the left rear of the GMC. No one was injured in the crash. Damage to both vehicles was minor.

Friday, Aug. 10

No arrests were made.

• A 47 year-old Guilford man was issued a warning at 7:35 a.m. for failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway. He was operating a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck eastbound on Route 80 near the Route 80/81 traffic circle when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a rock ledge located off the right shoulder. The truck returned to the road and then struck a second rock wall located off the opposite side of the road before coming to final rest. No one was injured in the crash.

Saturday, Aug. 11 to Tuesday, Aug. 14
