• A 27 year-old man of Shorelands Drive was arrested at 4 p.m. and charged with violation of probation.

• Threatening was investigated on Woodland Avenue at 9:56 a.m.

• A theft was investigated at 14 West Middle Beach Road at 12:49 p.m.

• A domestic dispute was investigated on the 300 block of Race Hill Road at 1:50 p.m.

• A theft involving a credit card was investigated at 761 Boston Post Road at 1:16 p.m.

• A domestic dispute was investigated on Woodsvale Road at 7:37 p.m.

Saturday, April 14

• A 21 year-old Northford man was arrested at 1:15 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs following a motor vehicle stop on Durham Road at Cross Road.

• A motor vehicle crash on private property was investigated at 613 Boston Post Road at 6:57 a.m.

• A domestic dispute was investigated on the 700 block of Greenhill Road at 10:57 a.m.

• A 38 year-old woman of Woodland Road was arrested at 2:37 a.m. and charged with assault in the third degree, breach of peace in the second degree, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, improper use of marker plate, and possession of greater than one-half ounce of cannabis following an investigation at 633 Boston Post Road.

• A theft of items from a motor vehicle was investigated at 77 Bradley Road at 12:09 a.m.

• Threatening was investigated at 70 Woodland Road at 6:49 a.m.

• A theft of items from a motor vehicle and a residence was investigated at 60 Boston Post Road at 9:07 a.m.

• Discharge of a firearm was reported on Old Toll Road near Race Hill Road at 11:33 a.m.

• The report of a missing child age 1 to 6 was investigated on Acorn Road at 2:13 p.m.

• An appliance fire was reported at 40 Hotchkiss Lane at 7:38 p.m.

• A motor vehicle crash of private property was investigated at 633 Boston Post Road at 6:48 a.m.

• Neighbor trouble was investigated at 343 Horse Pond Road at 10:30 a.m.

• Threatening was investigated at 175 Copse Road at 11:35 a.m.

• An animal nuisance was reported at 206 Devonshire Lane at 11:10 a.m.

• An animal nuisance was reported on opening Hill Road at Winter Hill Road at 1:52 p.m.

• A motor vehicle crash involving an animal was investigated in front of 340 Boston Post Road at 10:38 p.m.

Tuesday, April 24

• A 39 year-old Old Saybrook woman was arrested at 5:13 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.

• A 24 year-old Clinton woman was arrested at 10:47 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway following a motor vehicle crash on River Road near the Clinton town line.

• A brush fire was investigated at 1647 Durham Road at 1:18 p.m.

• An animal nuisance was reported at 54 Woodland Road at 2:11 p.m.

• Neighbor trouble was investigated at 70 Woodland Road at 9:17 p.m.

Killingworth

Wednesday, April 11 to Saturday, April 14

Sunday, April 15

No arrests were made.

• A 32 year-old Portland woman was issued a citation at 5:33 p.m. for failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart. She was operating a 2017 Honda Pilot southbound on Route 79 at the intersection of Route 148 and struck the rear of a 2008 Nissan Rogue operated by a 20 year-old Guilford woman. No injuries were reported or observed at the scene. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Monday, April 16 to Thursday, April 19

No arrests were made.

Friday, April 20

No arrests were made.

• A 39 year-old Niantic woman was issued a citation at 8:42 p.m. for failure to drive right. She was operating a 2012 Chevy Cruze LT westbound on Route 148 approaching Abner Lane when she swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway, struck the curb, rolled the vehicle over, and landed in a driveway. A 33 year-old Madison man was a passenger onboard the vehicle. No injuries were reported or observed at the scene.

Saturday, April 21 to Tuesday, April 24
