Police Incident Report for March 28 to April 3

• A 39 year-old man of Westerly, Rhode Island was issued a citation at 10:34 a.m. for failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart. He was operating a 2000 Acura 3.2 TL when he struck the rear of a 2013 Honda Civic LX operated by a 25 year-old man of Deep Hollow Road that was stopped for traffic. Due to the force of the crash, the Honda was pushed into the rear of a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee operated by a 49 year-old woman of West Main Street. The operator of the Honda was transported to the hospital for evaluation and treatment. The operator of a Jeep reported possible injuries but refused medical transport. The cited operator reported no injuries.
