Police Incident Report for Dec. 27 to Jan. 2


The North Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Wednesday, Dec. 27

• A 23 year-old man of Bronx, New York was arrested at 5:11 p.m. and charged with larceny in the fourth degree, making a false statement to procure a credit card, identity theft in the second degree, criminal impersonation, and forgery in the second degree.

Thursday, Dec. 28

• A 41 year-old man of Middletown Avenue was arrested at 2:34 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to have proper turn signals or stop signals.

• A 45 year-old New Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 11:42 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance and failure to display plate.

Friday, Dec. 29

• A 50 year-old Meriden man was arrested at 6 p.m. and charged with possession of marijuana, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to sell or dispense narcotics, and three counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Saturday, Dec. 30 to Sunday, Dec. 31

No arrests were made.

Monday, Jan. 1

No arrests were made.

• A 25 year-old Middletown man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 5:50 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, traveling too fast for conditions, failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway, and using a hand-held cell phone while driving.

• A 34 year-old man of Fallon Drive was issued a misdemeanor summons at 3 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, and illegal operating of a motor vehicle repair business.

Tuesday, Jan. 2

No arrests were made.

From Dec. 27 to Jan. 2, North Haven police issued one citation for failure to grant right of way at a private road, one citation for failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway, and one citation for traveling too fast for conditions.
