Police Incident Report for Nov. 8 to 21


The North Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Wednesday, Nov. 8

No arrests were made.

Thursday, Nov. 9

• A 29 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 12:17 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and reckless endangerment in the second degree.

• A 33 year-old man of Eaton Street was arrested at 2 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and violation of a protective order.

• A 41 year-old woman of Sackett Point Road was arrested at 9:29 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct. Later in the day, at 4:45 p.m., she was also charged with breach of peace.

• A 32 year-old man of Fortune Drive was arrested at 11 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to pay or plead a citation and failure to appear for a motor vehicle summons.

• A 41 year-old man of Rocky Point, New York, was arrested at 12:45 p.m. and charged with burglary in the third degree and larceny in the sixth degree.

• A 29 year-old New Haven woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 12:17 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance and misuse of plate.

Friday, Nov. 10

No arrests were made.

Saturday, Nov. 11

• A 42 year-old Meriden man was arrested at 12:11 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• A 46 year-old man of Rock Road was arrested at 8 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.

Sunday, Nov. 12

No arrests were made.

Monday, Nov. 13

No arrests were made.

• A 35 year-old New Britain man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 12:21 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension.

Tuesday, Nov. 14

No arrests were made.

• A 48 year-old Hamden woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 1:22 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance and failure to drive a reasonable distance apart.

Wednesday, Nov. 15

• A 46 year-old Durham man was arrested at 3:40 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree following a motor vehicle stop. He was also charged with operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

• A 41 year-old man of Sackett Road was arrested at 10:30 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and violation of a protective order.

• A 58 year-old Northford man was arrested at 6:55 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart.

• A 25 year-old man of Old Kiln Road was arrested at 10:30 p.m. and charged with breach of peace, possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana, and use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

• A 22 year-old West Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 5:19 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, improper use of marker plate, and improper license classification for vehicle driven.

• A 22 year-old New Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 5:19 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance and improper use of marker plate.

Thursday, Nov. 16

• A 21 year-old man of Roarke Road was arrested at 6:29 p.m. and charged with breach of peace and assault in the second degree.

• A 26 year-old man of Pool Road was arrested at 7:46 p.m. and charged with violation of probation.

• A 27 year-old New Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 5:31 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, misuse of plate, and improper license classification for vehicle driven.

• A 28 year-old Hamden man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 11:31 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

Friday, Nov. 17

No arrests were made.

Saturday, Nov. 18

• A 34 year-old woman of Quinnipiac Avenue was arrested at 8:50 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.

• A 24 year-old Hamden man was arrested at 9 a.m. and charged with criminal mischief in the four degree.

Sunday, Nov. 19

No arrests were made.

Monday, Nov. 20

• A 37 year-old woman of New York, New York was arrested at 1:37 a.m. and charged with possession of narcotics, criminal impersonation, forgery in the third degree, conspiracy to commit illegal use of a credit card, criminal attempt to commit larceny in the third degree, and two counts of forgery of symbols of value.

Tuesday, Nov. 21

No arrests were made.

From Nov. 8 to 21 North Haven police issued six citations for traveling unreasonable fast, five citations for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, four citations for failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart, and two citations for failure to obey State Traffic Commission road signs or street markings. One citation was issued for each of the following: operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license, speeding, passing in a no-passing zone, failure to obey a stop sign, failure to grant right of way at a private road or driveway, failure to grant right of way, failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart, and failure to drive right.
