Wednesday, Oct. 4

• A 53 year-old man of Woodlawn Avenue was arrested at 10:30 a.m. and charged with engaging police in pursuit following a motor vehicle stop on the 100 block of Elm Street.

• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 43 Harkness Drive at 11:30 a.m.

• A motor vehicle accident on private property was investigated at 514 Old Roll Road at 1:49 p.m.

• A domestic dispute was investigated on Laurel Crest Road at 6:40 p.m.

• A burglary was investigated at 775 Green Hill Road at 6:52 a.m.

• A motor vehicle accident in which a driver evaded (fled) the scene was investigated at 25 Durham Road at 11:54 a.m.

• A complaint about fraud with a credit card was investigated at 1320 Boston Post Road at 3:48 p.m.

• A 42 year-old woman of Doe Lane was arrested at 4:48 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs following a motor vehicle stop on Buck Hill Road after it was reported that she was driving erratically. She agreed to and failed a standardized field sobriety test.

• A motor vehicle accident without injuries was investigated at 761 Boston Post Road at 10:36 a.m.

• Neighbor trouble was investigated on Lovers Lane at 3:24 p.m.

• A theft of items from a parked vehicle was investigated at 94 West Wharf Road at 9:40 p.m.

• A 20 year-old Meriden man was arrested at 6:02 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway following a motor vehicle crash with injuries on Durham Road at Goat Lot Road.

• A 28 year-old Waterbury man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 10:43 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension.

• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 31 Sylvan Road at 8:35 a.m.

• A theft was investigated at 79 Fairview Drive at 3:56 p.m.

• A brush fire was investigated on Green Hill Road near Durham Road at 5:31 p.m.

• A 22 year-old woman of East Wharf Road was arrested at 5:16 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway, and improper use of highway following a motor vehicle stop on Durham Road near Pond View Road.

• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 31 Forest Hills Drive at 9:43 a.m.

• A stray was found on the 300 block of Green Hill Road and placed in the animal shelter at 12:13 p.m.

• An animal nuisance was investigated on River Road at Alex Drive at 2:42 p.m.

• A report of animal bites was investigated at 6 Salem Road at 8:01 a.m.

• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 19 Pardee Place at 5:18 p.m.

• A motor vehicle accident without injuries was investigated on Horse Pond Road at Green Hill Road at 5:49 p.m.

• Dozens of wires-down conditions caused by severe storm conditions were reported across town during late hours and into Monday.

• A motor vehicle accident without injuries was investigated on Green Hill Road at Nortontown Road at 1:09 p.m.

• Criminal mischief was investigated on private property at 949 Boston Post Road at 8:58 p.m.

Killingworth

Wednesday, Oct. 4

• A 44 year-old Middletown woman was arrested at 1:15 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, and unsafe backing following a motor vehicle accident on Route 148 at the intersection of Route 81.

Thursday, Oct. 5

Friday, Oct. 6

No arrests were made.

• A 34 year-old woman of Pond Meadow Road was issued a citation at 3:51 p.m. for failure to drive a reasonable distance apart after the 2015 Toyota Highlander he was operating northbound on Route 81 struck the rear of a 2005 Honda Civic LX operated by a 52 year-old Killingworth woman who had slowed to make a left turn. The operator of the struck vehicle was transported to the Middlesex Hospital Shoreline Medical Clinic for evaluation.

Saturday, Oct. 7 to Sunday, Oct. 15

• A 51 year-old Southington woman was issued a citation at 5:32 p.m. for distracted driving after she lost control of the 2010 Volkswagen Jetta Limited she was operating northbound on Route 81 near Stevens Road and struck a concrete guardrail support. The operator stated that she panicked when a spider repelled onto her face. She was transported by ambulance to an area clinic for evaluation.

Tuesday, Oct. 17 to Wednesday, Oct. 18

Thursday, Oct. 19

No arrests were made.

• A 19 year-old man of Roast Meat Hill Road was issued a citation at 12:50 a.m. for failure to drive right after he lost control of the 2013 Hyundai Sonata he was operating southbound near 579 Roast Meat Hill Road when a deep jumped into the roadway. The Hyundai struck a stone wall and a tree. No injuries were reported or observed.

• A 53 year-old woman of River Road was issued a citation at 3:53 p.m. after the 2003 BMW 535xi she was operating out of a driveway onto Route 81 near Steven Road struck a 2003 BMW 540i operated by a 21 year-old man of Wolf Hollow Lane. No injuries were reported or observed. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.

• A 74 year-old man of Chestnut Hill Road was issued a citation at 4:27 p.m. for making an unsafe movement from a stopped or standing position after he attempted to enter Route 80 northbound from a private business driveway along the west shoulder while operating a 2011 Subaru Outback. His Subaru collided with the front end of a 2009 Ford Focus that was operated by a 29 year-old man of Iron Works Road. No injuries were reported or observed.

Friday, Oct. 20 to Monday, Oct. 23

Tuesday, Oct. 24

No arrests were made.

• A 17 year-old boy of Granite Hill Road was issued a citation at 5:26 p.m. for failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart after the 2014 Subaru Forester southbound on Beechwood Road struck the rear of a 2017 Dodge Durango operated by a 39 year-old Guilford man. No injuries were reported or observed and both vehicles were driven from the scene.

Wednesday, Oct. 25

• A 43 year-old man of Little City Road was arrested at 8:44 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct. The accused was intoxicated and got into an altercation with another person within the residence. He was processed on a $1,000 bond.

Thursday, Oct. 26 to Sunday, Oct. 29

Monday, Oct. 30

• Criminal mischief was investigated at 48 Burr Hill Road at 8:33 p.m. A vehicle parked in the driveway was vandalized between 8 and 10:30 p.m.
