Madison

Wednesday, Sept. 6

• A 70 year-old woman of Apple Way was arrested at 3:22 p.m. and charged with negligent homicide with a motor vehicle.

• Neighbor trouble was investigated on Cottage Road at 7:57 a.m.

• An animal nuisance was reported at 4 Joshua Trail at 8:38 a.m.

• An animal nuisance was reported at 350 Boston Post Road at 11:53 a.m.

• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 146 Buffalo Way at 3:59 p.m.

• An animal nuisance was reported at 136 Samson Rock Drive at 8:11 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 7

• A 53 year-old Bristol man was arrested at 10:40 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• A 35 year-old East Hartford man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 3:15 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and traveling unreasonably fast.

• An animal nuisance report at 87 Surf Club Road resulted in an animal being placed into the animal shelter at 8:58 a.m.

• A landlord/tenant dispute was investigated on Hunter Trail at 11:25 a.m.

• Criminal mischief was investigated at 6 Cambridge Drive at 12:08 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 8

No arrests were made.

• A motor vehicle accident without injuries was investigated on Old Toll Road at Durham Road at 9:09 a.m.

• A complaint about threatening was investigated on West Wharf Road at 2:03 p.m.

• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 19 Bradley Road at 4:17 p.m.

• A motor vehicle accident was investigated at 28 Durham Road at 4:28 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 9

• A 54 year-old Clinton man was arrested at 11:03 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs following a motor vehicle stop on Academy Street at Boston Post Road.

• A theft of items from a motor vehicle was investigated at 64 Neck Road at 9:46 a.m.

• A theft from a residence was investigated at 1281 Durham Road at 10:25 a.m.

• Neighbor trouble was investigated on Lovers Lane at 2:32 p.m.

• A theft from a residence was investigated at 38 Godman Road at 5:47 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 15

• A theft was investigated at 9 Bushell Lane at 9:50 a.m.

• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 43 Harkness Drive at 10:04 a.m.

• Neighbor trouble was investigated on Suffolk Drive at 1:05 p.m.

• A complaint about unwanted person(s) was investigated at 94 West Wharf Road at 8:34 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 16

• A 65 year-old man of Durham Road was arrested at 7:19 p.m. and charged with risk of injury to a minor, interfering with an officer, and assault on a peace officer.

• A domestic dispute was investigated on Strawberry Hill Road at 1:56 a.m.

• A theft was investigated at 600 Boston Post Road at 1:21 p.m.

• A brush fire was reported at 77 Bradley Road at 2:52 p.m.

Killingworth

Wednesday, Sept. 6

• A 26 year-old man of Cow Pen Hill Road was arrested and charged with burglary in the first degree, criminal mischief in the first degree, larceny in the sixth degree, criminal use of a firearm or electronic defense weapon, and possession of marijuana. The accused broke into Killingworth Family Pharmacy. He was identified via video surveillance. The accused was later located in Hartford. He was processed on a $250,000 surety bond.

Thursday, Sept. 7 to Sunday, Sept. 10

Monday, Sept. 11

No arrests were made.

• A 19 year-old Guilford man was issued a citation at 11:51 a.m. for unsafely entering a traffic roundabout from a standing position after the 2013 Honda Accord he was operating through the Route 80/81 traffic circle collided with a 1997 Ford F150 pick-up truck operated by a 78 year-old Ivoryton woman. No injuries were reported or observed.

Tuesday, Sept. 12 to Friday, Sept. 15

Saturday, Sept. 16

No arrests were made.

• A 58 year-old man of Jennifer Lane was issued a verbal warning at 12:37 p.m. for failure to grant right of way at an intersection after the 2014 Chevrolet K1500 Suburban he was operating struck the rear passenger side of a 2003 Honda Civic operated by a 56 year-old man of Charlestown, Rhode Island. The accident occurred at the intersection of Roast Meat Hill Road and Route 80. The passenger of the struck vehicle complained of hand, knee, and chest pain. The passenger was transported to the Middlesex Hospital Shoreline Medical Clinic.
