Wednesday, Aug. 9
• A 21 year-old New Haven woman was arrested at 9 a.m. and charged with larceny in the fourth degree, credit card theft, and charging under $500 on a revoked credit card.
• A 50 year-old man of Laurel Street was arrested at 10:53 a.m. and charged with forgery in the second degree, insurance fraud, and possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana (an infraction). He was processed on a $10,000 surety bond.
• A 25 year-old man of Highland Avenue was arrested at 11:25 p.m. and charged with violation of probation.
Thursday, Aug. 10
• A 30 year-old man of Rowe Street was arrested at 12:04 a.m. and charged with two counts of criminal attempt to commit burglary in the third degree and two counts of criminal attempt to commit larceny in the sixth degree.
• A 46 year-old woman of unrecorded address was arrested at 3:30 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.
• A 37 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 6:59 p.m. and charged with violation of a protective order. He was processed on a $10,000 surety bond.
Friday, Aug. 11
• A 26 year-old man of Main Street was arrested at 8:20 p.m. and charged with illegal possession of a motor vehicle, failure to display plates, and use or possession of drug paraphernalia containing less than one-half ounce of marijuana.
• A 33 year-old man of Old Foxon Road was arrested at 9:10 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct, assault in the third degree, and strangulation in the third degree.
Saturday, Aug. 12
No arrests were made.
Sunday, Aug. 13
• A 34 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 11:53 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief in the third degree.
Monday, Aug. 14
• A 20 year-old man of Michael Street was arrested at 5:40 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and violation of a protective order.
• A 57 year-old man of South End Road was arrested at 6:03 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.
• A 60 year-old man of Shell Beach Road was arrested at 6:03 p.m. and charged with breach of in the second degree and assault in the third degree.
• A 28 year-old man of Elm Street was issued a citation at 9:05 p.m. for use or possession of drug paraphernalia containing less than one-half ounce of marijuana.
Tuesday, Aug. 15
• A 52 year-old Enfield man was arrested at 9 a.m. and charged with burglary in the third degree, larceny in the second degree, and violation of conditions of released in the second degree.
• A 24 year-old man of a Willow Road apartment was arrested at 10:36 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct, assault in the third degree, and unlawful restraint in the second degree.
• A 47 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 2:14 p.m. and charged with tampering with a witness, conspiracy to tamper with a witness, and violation of a protective order. He was processed on a $50,000 surety bond.
• A 63 year-old North Branford man was issued a citation at 5:25 p.m. for possession of less than ½ ounce of marijuana.
Wednesday, Aug. 16
• A 22 year-old Hamden woman was arrested at 7:18 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.
Thursday, Aug. 17
No arrests were made.
Friday, Aug. 18
• A 43 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 9 a.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.
• A 23 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 11:38 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, engaging police in pursuit, interfering with an officer (resisting arrest), operating a motor vehicle without insurance, failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway, operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license, failure to have headlamps, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and improper use of marker plates.
Saturday, Aug. 19
• A 28 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 12:06 p.m. and charged with two counts of violation of probation, breach of peace in the second degree, and two counts of illegal manufacture, sale, or distribution of drugs following an investigation on High Street near Tuttle Place. In the same incident a 28 year-old woman of Messina Drive was arrested at 12:26 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.
• A 51 year-old man of Maplevale Court was arrested at 7:35 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree, assault in the third degree, and assault in the third degree on a person age 60 or older or who is handicapped or pregnant.
• A 34 year-old man of Charnes Drive was arrested at 8:20 p.m. and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and having an improper review mirror.
• A 51 year-old Guilford woman was arrested at 10:59 p.m. and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Sunday, Aug. 20
• A 46 year-old man of Robert Drive was arrested at 2:48 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.
• A 39 year-old woman of Hemingway Avenue was arrested at 4:36 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.
• A 28 year-old Branford man was arrested at 9:34 p.m. and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Monday, Aug. 21
• A 48 year-old homeless man was arrested at 9 a.m. and charged with criminal trespass in the third degree.
Tuesday, Aug. 22
• A 31 year-old Branford man was arrested at 5:25 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.
