Police Incident Report for July 19 to Aug. 1

Madison

Wednesday, July 19

• A 58 year-old man of a Madison post office box address was arrested at 6 p.m. and charged with criminal violation of a restraining order. The arrest was made at 290 Green Hill Road.

• A motor vehicle accident was investigated in front of 2114 Durham Road at 3:59 p.m.

• A stray animal was found at 182 Opening Hill Road at 8:20 p.m.

Thursday, July 20

No arrests were made.

• A motor vehicle accident without injuries was investigated in front of 36 Wall Street at 10:47 a.m.

• A theft of mail was investigated at 90 Rolling Meadow Road at 7:57. The call was canceled and reported as an unfounded incident.

Friday, July 21

No arrests were made.

• A theft of automobile accessories was investigated at 94 West Wharf Road at 12:24 p.m.

Saturday, July 22

No arrests were made.

• A complaint about identification theft was investigated at 1084 Boston Post Road at 1:29 p.m.

• A report of a missing adult was investigated at 8 West Wharf Road at 7:11 p.m.

Sunday, July 23

• A 26 year-old man of Shorelands Drive at 5:42 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, reckless driving, and engaging police in pursuit.

• An animal nuisance was investigated on Copse Road on Green Hill Road at 1:07 p.m.

• A brush fire was investigated at 1288 Boston Post Road at 3:40 p.m.

• Neighbor trouble was investigated at 63 Horse Pond Road at 6:37 p.m.

• A littering violation was investigated at 25 Conestoga Drive at 6:20 p.m.

• A brush fire was reported at 138 Garnet Park Road at 10:23 p.m.

Monday, July 24

• A 49 year-old woman of Dogwood Lane was arrested at 6:38 a.m. and charged with three counts of violation of probation/conditional discharge.

• A complaint about entrapment (non-motor vehicle accident and non-fire) was investigated at 257 Copse Road at 9:30 a.m.

Tuesday, July 25

No arrests were made.

Wednesday, July 26

• A 26 year-old Guilford woman was arrested at 1:42 p.m. and charged with illegal possession of narcotics.

• A theft was investigated at 286 Green Hill Road at 10:56 a.m.

• An assault was investigated on Sandlewood Drive at 1:52 p.m.

• A domestic dispute was investigated on Wall Street at 4:29 p.m.

Thursday, July 27

No arrests were made.

• A motor vehicle accident involving an animal was reported on Old Toll Road near Race Hill Road at 7:15 a.m.

• A theft from a residence was investigated at 39 Strawberry Hill Road at 8:14 a.m.

• A theft was investigated at 67 Dream Lake Drive at 3:01 p.m.

• A theft of items from a motor vehicle was investigated at 91 East Wharf Road at 3:27 p.m.

Friday, July 28

No arrests were made.

• A motor vehicle accident without injuries was investigated in front of 709 Boston Post Road at 3:06 p.m.

• A motor vehicle accident with injuries was investigated on Warpas Road at Durham Road at 5:06 p.m.

• A breach of peace incident was investigated on Scotland Road near Horse Pond Road at 5:32 p.m.

Saturday, July 29

No arrests were made.

• Sudden death was reported on Garnet Park Road at 6:16 p.m.

Sunday, July 30

• The theft of a motor vehicle was investigated at 353 Boston Post Road at 11:37 a.m.

• A domestic dispute was investigated at 22 Whedon Lane at 8:23 p.m.

Monday, July 31

• A 30 year-old Killingworth man was arrested at 1:36 p.m. on a warrant charged him with failure to appear in the first degree following a motor vehicle stop in which he was issued a misdemeanor summons for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension.

• A 20 year-old Guilford man was arrested at 5:21 p.m. and charged with sexual assault in the second degree (by consent/no force or threat) and risk of injury to a minor.

• A motor vehicle accident with injuries was investigated on Durham Road at the Killingworth town line at 1:47 p.m.

• A motor vehicle accident without injuries was investigated in front of 463 Boston Post Road at 6:09 p.m. The offending operator fled the scene as was wanted for evading responsibility in the operation or a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident).

Tuesday, Aug. 1

No arrests were made.

• A 37 year-old Middletown man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9:38 a.m. for evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident) and failure to drive a reasonable distance apart.

• Neighbor trouble was investigated on Rustic Lane at 11:28 a.m.

• Criminal mischief on private property was investigated at 67 Dream Lake Drive at 5:43 p.m.

• A complaint about an unwanted person or persons was investigated at 801 Boston Post Road at 6:57 p.m.

Killingworth

Wednesday, July 19 to Saturday, July 22

No arrests were made.

Sunday, July 23

No arrests were made.

• A 31 year-old Newington woman was issued a citation at 4:31 p.m. for failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart after the 2006 Saab 97x she was operating on Route 81 southbound in the roundabout from Route 80 after struck the rear of a 2013 RAM 1500 pick-up truck operated by a 55 year-old Clinton man. No injuries were reported or observed and both vehicles were driven from the scene.

Monday, July 24 to Friday, July 28

Saturday, July 29

No arrests were made.

• A 64 year-old woman of North Parker Hill Road was issued a verbal warning at 3:27 p.m. for failure to drive right after the 2009 Nissan Altima 2 she was operating westbound on Route 81 veered off the roadway and struck a mailbox. It was determined that the operator of the vehicle had a medical episode, which resulted in the crash. She was transported to Middlesex Hospital Shoreline Medical Clinic in Westbrook for evaluation.

Sunday, July 30 to Tuesday, Aug. 1
