The Harbor News publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Clinton, Westbrook, and Old Saybrook. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Clinton

Wednesday, Dec. 14

• A 23 year-old man and a 30 year-old woman, both of Hartford, were arrested at 12:16 p.m. following a shoplifting incident on Killingworth Turnpike. Each party was charged larceny in the sixth degree.

• A 36 year-old woman of Fox Hill Road was arrested at 6:09 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct under the Domestic Violence Act.

• A larceny was investigated on East Main Street at 9:56 a.m.

Thursday, Dec. 15

No arrests were made.

• A 40 year-old Tolland man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 3:33 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and improper use of registration plates following a motor vehicle stop on Ninety Rod Road.

• A burglary was investigated on Nod Road at 10:48 p.m.

Friday, Dec. 16

• A 17 year-old was arrested at 2:25 p.m. and charged with assault in the third degree and disorderly conduct following a dispute on Killingworth Turnpike. In the same incident an 18 year-old man of Hurd Bridge Road was charged with creating a public disturbance.

• The issuing of bad checks was investigated on West Main Street at 11:54 a.m.

• A larceny was investigated on Killingworth Turnpike at 1:59 p.m.

• Harassment was investigated on Killingworth Turnpike at 3:54 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 17

• A 50 year-old woman of Twin Oaks Lane was arrested at 8:43 a.m. and charged with assault in the third degree and disorderly conduct under the Domestic Violence Act.

• A shoplifting incident was investigated on East Main Street at 1:08 p.m.

Sunday, Dec. 18

• A 38 year-old man of Liberty Street was arrested at 4:43 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct under the Domestic Violence Act.

• Harassment was investigated on Sunnybrook Lane at 8:22 p.m.

Monday, Dec. 19

No arrests were made.

• A 24 year-old man of Old Nod Road was issued a misdemeanor summons at 4:38 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance and traveling unreasonably fast following a motor vehicle stop on Old Post Road. In the same incident a 22 year-old female passenger was issued a citation for possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana and use or possession of drug paraphernalia containing less than one-half ounce of marijuana.

• A complaint about identity theft was investigated on Cow Hill Road at 2:01 p.m.

• A larceny was investigated on Killingworth Turnpike at 2:34 p.m.

Tuesday, Dec. 20

• A larceny was investigated on Rocky Ledge Drive at 10:18 a.m.

• Harassment was investigated on East Main Street at 10:39 a.m.

• A domestic violence incident was investigated on Marine Avenue at 1:41 p.m.

• A burglary was investigated on Shore Road at 2:44 p.m.

• A larceny was investigated on Killingworth Turnpike at 6:37 p.m.

Wednesday, Dec. 21

• An 18 year-old Wallingford woman was arrested at 3:03 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree following a shoplifting incident on Killingworth Turnpike.

• A 45 year-old woman and a 32 year-old woman of the same West Main Street address were arrested at 5:42 p.m. on warrants. Each party was charged with failure to pay or plead a citation.

• A 42 year-old Westbrook man was arrested at 7:51 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree. He was also charged with possession of narcotics.

• Larcenies were investigated on Glenwood Road at 7:36 a.m., Fairy Dell Road at 7:52 a.m., East Main Street at 11:37 a.m., and Christopher Lane at 12:43 p.m.

• Threatening was investigated on Nod Road at 9:32 a.m.

Thursday, Dec. 22

• A 47 year-old man of Nod Rod was arrested at 4:35 p.m. on a warrant charging him with disorderly conduct and assault in the third degree.

• A complaint about harassment was investigated on Glenwood Road at 10:18 a.m.

• A larceny was investigated on East Main Street at 11:06 a.m.

• A neighbor dispute was investigated on Morgan Park at 8:44 p.m.

Friday, Dec. 23

• A larceny (by shoplifting) was investigated on Durham Road at 10:26 a.m.

• A larceny was investigated on Killingworth Turnpike at 8:20 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 24

• A 23 year-old man of Christopher Lane was arrested at 7:54 p.m. and charged with breach of peace and criminal trespass in the first degree.

• A 28 year-old Windsor woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 8:45 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension following a motor vehicle stop on Killingworth Turnpike.

• A complaint about identity theft was investigated on Maplewood Drive at 1:15 p.m.

• A larceny was investigated on Killingworth Turnpike at 3:30 p.m.

• Harassment was investigated on Ninety Rod Road at 9:22 p.m.

• A 31 year-old man of East Setauket, New York was arrested at 7:24 a.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree, credit card counterfeiting (signature forgery), illegal use of a credit card, unlawful reproduction of a credit card, identity theft in the third degree, and conspiracy to commit identity theft.

• A 35 year-old man of Egypt Lane was arrested at 7:21 a.m. on a warrant charging him with being a fugitive from justice.

• A 67 year-old New Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 6:01 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and failure to obey a stop sign following a motor vehicle stop on Hurd Bridge Road at Dogwood Lane.

• A 17 year-old was arrested at 12:52 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree (theft via shoplifting).

Wednesday, Dec. 28

• A 63 year-old man of Beach Park Road was arrested at 3:08 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree following a shoplifting incident on East Main Street.

• A 48 year-old Westbrook man was arrested at 9:02 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct following the report of an intoxicated person on Hammock Road.

• A 40 year-old woman of Ninety Rod Road was issued a misdemeanor summons at 4:55 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway following a motor vehicle accident without injuries on Old Post Road.

• An untimely death on Janes Lane Extension was investigated at 9:12 a.m.

• A complaint about identity theft was investigated on High Street at 3:24 p.m.

• Harassment was investigated on Ninety Rod Road at 6:68 p.m.

• A 24 year-old man of Old Mill Road was issued a misdemeanor summons at 6:26 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, improper use of registration plates, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana.

• A 38 year-old West Haven man was arrested at 1:50 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle in violation of license classification, and improper number of headlights following a motor vehicle stop on East Main Street at Church Road.

• A 28 year-old woman and a 29 year old man of Holyoke, Massachusetts were arrested at 4:07 p.m. and charged with larceny in the fifth degree, conspiracy to commit larceny in the fifth degree, and possession of a shoplifting device following a shoplifting incident on Killingworth Turnpike.

• A complaint about identity theft of Grove Street was investigated at 9:36 a.m.

• A complaint about identity theft on Davis Farms Road was investigated at 9:56 a.m.

• A noise complaint was investigated on James Vincent Drive at 3:29 p.m.

• A noise complaint was investigated on Kenilworth Drive at 7:38 p.m.

• A larceny was investigated on Happy Acres Road at 9:56 p.m.

Sunday, Jan. 1

• A 51 year-old North Branford woman was arrested at 1:41 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to obey a control signal.

• A 66 year-old man of Pratt Road was arrested at 7:12 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and drinking while operating a motor vehicle following a motor vehicle stop on Hull Street at Central Avenue.

• A 29 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 10:16 p.m. and charged with illegal possession of narcotics following a motor vehicle stop on Hull Street at Central Avenue.

• Criminal mischief was investigated on West Main Street at 5:46 p.m.

• A 59 year-old New Haven woman was arrested at 1:04 p.m. on a warrant charging her with larceny in the sixth degree following a shoplifting incident on East Main Street.

Tuesday, Jan. 3

• A 20 year-old man of Egypt Lane was arrested at 7:37 a.m. on a warrant charging him with possession of child pornography.

• A larceny was investigated on Long Hill Road at 1:17 p.m.

• Harassment was investigated on Ninety Rod Road at 6:25 p.m.

Wednesday, Jan. 4

• A 14 year-old was arrested at 2:53 p.m. and charged with assault in the third degree and disorderly conduct under the Domestic Violence Act.

• A 33 year-old man of Glenwood Road was arrested at 5:07 p.m. and charged with threatening and disorderly conduct under the Domestic Violence Act.

• A larceny was investigated on Liberty Street at 12:15 p.m.

• An 18 year-old man of Whitewood Road was arrested at 12:07 a.m. and charged with possession of marijuana, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, and having the improper number of headlights following a motor vehicle stop on Walnut Hill Road at Killingworth Turnpike.

• A domestic dispute was investigated on Glenwood Road at 6:43 p.m.

Friday, Jan. 6

• A 53 year-old man of Nod Road was arrested at 4:21 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.

• A 34 year-old man of Bronx, New York was arrested at 5:26 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree, criminal attempt to commit larceny in the third degree, conspiracy to commit larceny in the third degree, illegal use of a credit card, and unlawful completion of a credit card application or reproduction of a credit card.

• A shoplifting incident was investigated on Killingworth Turnpike at 3:25 p.m.

Saturday, Jan. 7

• A 47 year-old East Haddam man was arrested at 12:51 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to have tail lamps or marker lights following a motor vehicle stop on High Street.

• A noise complaint was investigated on Knollwood Drive at 5:27 a.m.

Monday, Jan. 9

• A 44 year-old woman of Delwood Avenue was issued a misdemeanor summons at 3 p.m. for evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident), failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway, and traveling too fast for conditions following a motor vehicle accident without injuries on Carter Hill Road.

• A 45 year-old New Haven woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 3:43 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle in violation of license classification and traveling unreasonably fast following a motor vehicle stop on West Main Street.

• A 48 year-old Branford woman was arrested at 2:11 p.m. on a warrant charging her with breach of peace in the second degree. She was processed on a $3,000 surety bond.

• A 33 year-old man of Bronx, New York was issued a misdemeanor summons at 1:35 a.m. for evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident), failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart, and operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license.

Friday, Dec. 16

• A 25 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 9:21 a.m. and charged with reckless driving, operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

• A 44 year-old Clinton man was arrested at 10:04 p.m. on a warrant charging him with interfering with an officer, breach of peace in the second degree, and reckless endangerment in the first degree. He was processed on a $25,000 surety bond.

Sunday, Dec. 18

• A 26 year-old Middletown man was arrested at 5:44 p.m. and charged with breach of peace, harassment in the second degree, and threatening. The accused allegedly sent harassing and threatening messages to a 32 year-old man via social media.

Monday, Dec. 19

• A 59 year-old Old Saybrook woman was issued a written warning at 5:37 p.m. for unsafe backing after the 2011 Subaru Legacy she backed out of a parking space at the exit 64 commuter lot and struck the side of a 2016 Toyota RAV4 operated by a 28 year-old Clinton woman. No injuries were reported or observed and both vehicles were driven from the scene.

• A 52 year-old man of Wickham Court was arrested at 9:19 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.

Thursday, Dec. 22

• A 56 year-old man of Westport, Massachusetts was arrested at 2:50 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway after he was stopped for operating a motor vehicle erratically and failed a field sobriety test.

• A 27 year-old Hartford man was arrested at 10:07 a.m. and charged with breach of peace and threatening.

• A 20 year-old Old Saybrook man was arrested on a warrant charging him with criminal mischief in the second degree, conspiracy to commit criminal mischief in the second degree, and having weapons in a motor vehicle.

• A 51 year-old Guilford man was issued a citation at 6:14 p.m. for failure to drive a reasonable distance apart after the 2007 Volvo S40 he was operating southbound on Route 153 on the I-95 overpass struck the rear of a 2010 Lexus RX 350 operated by a 49 year-old Old Saybrook woman. No injuries were reported or observed.

• A 62 year-old woman of Chapman Avenue was issued a verbal warning at 3:28 p.m. for failure to drive a reasonable distance apart after the 2015 Audi A3 she was operating struck the rear of a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee operated by a 59 year-old Branford man. No injuries were reported or observed.

Thursday, Dec. 29

• A 36 year-old Clinton man was arrested at 12:37 a.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree, harassment in the second degree, threatening, and carry a dangerous weapon following the report of a suspicious person on Boston Post Road. The accused threatened a female complainant through phone calls and text messages after creating a disturbance outside her residence. He was processed and held in lieu of a $25,000 surety bond he could not post.

Friday, Dec. 30

• An 18 year-old Haddam man was arrested at 2:38 p.m. and charged with criminal mischief in the second degree.

• A 38 year-old New London woman was issued a written warning at 2 p.m. for failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart after the 2008 Honda Odyssey she was operating through the intersection of Route 145 and Pequot Park Road struck the rear of a 2014 Lexus ES 350 operated by a 76 year-old Killingworth woman who had slowed to turn left from Route 145 onto Pequot Park Road. The operator of the struck vehicle was transported to the Middlesex Hospital Shoreline Medical Clinic for evaluation. No other injuries were reported or observed.

Saturday, Dec. 31

• A 22 year-old North Haven woman was arrested at 2:35 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and traveling unreasonably fast following a one-vehicle without injuries on Route 145 near Ken Rose Terrace.

• A 35 year-old North Haven man was arrested at 4:06 p.m. and charged with violation of a protective order. The accused contacted the complainant and her mother via text messages and email while under court order to make no contact.

• A 19 year-old New Britain woman was arrested at 11:23 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway following a concerned citizen’s report of an erratic driver. The accused was stopped and failed a standardized field sobriety test.

Tuesday, Jan. 3

• A 37 year-old Hartford man was arrested at 9:33 a.m. on a warrant charging him with larceny in the fifth degree and forgery in the first degree.

Wednesday, Jan. 4

• A 24 year-old Meriden man was arrested at 10:12 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.

Thursday, Jan. 5

• A 59 year-old West Haven man was arrested at 11:50 a.m. and charged with being a fugitive from justice on a warrant held by authorities in Washington State. He was processed and held on a $5,000 surety bond and turned over to the Hartford Correctional Center pending a Jan. 6 court date.

• A two-vehicle crash was investigated on Essex Road at Route 166 at 2:57 p.m. A 96 year-old woman of Boston Post Road was operating a 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser northbound on Essex Road when she collided with a 2015 Mazda CX-5 operated northbound by a 29 year-old woman of Toby Hill Road. The operator of the Mazda was attempting to turn eastbound onto Route 166 when she turned into the oncoming path of the Chrysler. The operator of the Chrysler was not injured, but the operator of the Mazda was transported to the Yale New Haven Shoreline Clinic in Guilford for evaluation. No enforcement action was indicated in the police report since the case was still under investigation.

• A 26 year-old Bridgeport man was arrested at 8:20 p.m. and charged with reckless driving and operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension.

• An alleged assault inside the woman’s bathroom at The Deck sports bar located on Boston Post Road was investigated at 11:40 a.m. Anyone with information after this incident—which occurred between two white woman—is asked to call Trooper Gregory Hunter at 860-399-2100. All calls will be kept confidential.

Monday, Jan. 9

• A 27 year-old woman of Wrights Pond Road was arrested at 12:57 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway following a one-vehicle roll over.

• A 47 year-old woman of Boston Post Road was arrested at 11:42 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway following the report of a beige 2010 Ford Explorer that was being operated erratically on Boston Post Road. The vehicle was stopped and police observed that the driver had bloodshot eyes and that two empty Busch Light beer cans were located on the floor behind the driver’s seat. The driver agreed to a field sobriety test, which she failed.

• A 34 year-old North Branford man was arrested at 11:45 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and having defective equipment following a motor vehicle stop. The accused was observed operating a green Toyota Tundra with its front bumper hanging off the truck into the opposite lane. The driver was stopped and police detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverage emanating from the driver’s breath. The driver agreed to take a standardized field sobriety test, which he failed.

• A 51 year-old Middletown man was issued a citation at 12:34 p.m. for failure to maintain the a reasonable distance apart after the 2007 Expedition he was operating northbound on Route 153 and struck the rear of a 2011 Honda CR-V operated by a 50 year-old Essex woman. No injuries were reported or observed.

Tuesday, Jan. 10

• A 36 year-old Milford man was arrested at 4:36 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.

Wednesday, Dec. 14

• A 24 year-old Hartford man was arrested at 9:09 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.

• A 46 year-old man of Fairview Avenue was issued a misdemeanor summons at 5:02 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension following a motor vehicle stop on Boston Post Road at Lynde Street.

• A 31 year-old man of Trolley Crossing was arrested at 9:50 p.m. and charged with two counts of illegal possession of narcotics and two counts of use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

Thursday, Dec. 15

• A 19 year-old man of Fordham Trail was arrested at 12:30 p.m. on a warrant charging him with forgery in the second degree, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana, and possession of alcohol by a minor.

• A 20 year-old man of Ledge Road was arrested at 12:47 p.m. on three separate warrants charging him with three counts of criminal mischief in the second degree, three counts of conspiracy to commit criminal mischief in the second degree, three counts of unlawful discharge of a firearm, three counts of conspiracy to unlawfully discharge a firearm, three counts of having weapons in a motor vehicle, and three counts of conspiracy to have weapons in a motor vehicle.

Friday, Dec. 16

• A 46 year-old man of Ferry Road was arrested at 1:59 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway.

• A 38 year-old man of Westerly, Rhode Island was arrested at 5:59 p.m. and charged with two counts of illegal possession of narcotics, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, misuse of plates, possession of less than ½ ounce of marijuana, and use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

• An 18 year-old Madison man was arrested at 7:59 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.

Saturday, Dec. 17

• A 52 year-old Branford man was arrested at 12:20 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to obey a state traffic commission road sign.

• A 33 year-old New London woman was arrested at 2:12 a.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree and threatening in the second degree under the domestic violence act.

Sunday, Dec. 18

• A 33 year-old New London woman (the same woman arrested the date before) was arrested again at 9:13 a.m. and charged with two counts of failure to appear in the second degree under the authority of two outstanding warrants.

• A 34 year-old Clinton man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 10:40 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, misuse of plate, and operating a motor vehicle without insurance following a motor vehicle stop on Elm Street at King Street.

Tuesday, Dec. 20

• A 28 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 3:21 p.m. on a warrant charging him with engaging in repairing of motor vehicles without a license, conspiracy to commit vehicle repair without a license, larceny in the second degree, and conspiracy to commit larceny in the second degree.

• A 21 year-old man of Fairview Avenue was arrested at 3:27 p.m. on three separate warrants charging him with three counts criminal mischief on the second degree, three counts conspiracy to commit criminal mischief in the second degree, three counts of unlawful discharge of a firearm, three counts of conspiracy to commit unlawful discharge of a firearm, three counts of having weapons in a motor vehicle, and three counts of conspiracy to having weapons in a motor vehicle.

Wednesday, Dec. 21

• A 44 year-old woman of Garden Street was arrested at 9:07 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct, assault in the third degree, assault on an elderly person, and interfering with a emergency call under the domestic violence act. She was held in lieu of a $15,000 surety bond pending court presentation on the following day.

• A 20 year-old man of Ledge Road was arrested at 8:23 a.m. on a warrant held by New London police and turned over to that department.

• A 43 year-old man of Sea Coast Road was issued a citation at 10:51 a.m. for possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana.

• A 22 year-old Waterford woman was issued a citation at 12:58 p.m. for possession of drug paraphernalia.

• A 19 year-old East Haven man was issued a citation at 2:35 p.m. for possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana and use or possession of drug paraphernalia containing less than one-half ounce of marijuana.

• A 37 year-old Westbrook man was arrested at 1:09 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway.

• A 24 year-old Deep River man was arrested at 5:07 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, reckless driving, disobeying the signal of an officer, operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license, traveling too fast for conditions, failure to obey a stop sign, and unsafe movement from a stopped or standing position.

• An 18 year-old man of Tallwoods Circle was arrested at 10:47 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway, failure to change registration address after moving, failure to change driver’s license address, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal manufacture of drugs, operating a drug factory, illegal possession of one-half ounce of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia within 1,500 feet of a school, possession with intent to sell, and possession of a controlled substance or hallucinogen. He was processed on a held in lieu of a $25,000 bond.

Wednesday, Dec. 28

• A 22 year-old Westbrook man was arrested at 3:36 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to pay or plead a citation.

• A 16 year-old was arrested at 6:21 p.m. and charged with possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana (second time arrested for this offense). The juvenile was processed and released to parental custody. In the same incident an 18 year-old Westbrook man was issued a citation for possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana.

• A 53 year-old man of New Port, Rhode Island was arrested at 9:39 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree under the Domestic Violence Act.

• A 33 year-old Groton man was arrested at 6:48 p.m. and charged with illegal possession of narcotics and use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

• A 24 year-old Guilford man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 11:49 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and improper use of marker plate.

• A 55 year-old Bridgeport man was arrested at 6:06 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to respond to a summons.

• A 51 year-old woman of Middletown Avenue was arrested at 7:11 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to drive right.

• A 46 year-old man of Ford Drive was issued a misdemeanor summons at 12:52 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle without insurance following a motor vehicle stop on Essex Road at Floral Park Road.

• A 27 year-old Waterford man was arrested at 5:45 p.m. on a warrant charging him with larceny in the sixth degree.

• A 55 year-old New London man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 5:06 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension.

Wednesday, Jan. 4

• A 31 year-old Niantic man was arrested at 4:55 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree on a warrant held by Old Saybrook police.

• A 37 year-old Hartford man was arrested at 5:08 p.m. and charged with forgery in the second degree and larceny in the fifth degree on a warrant held by Old Saybrook police.

• A 20 year-old man of Springbrook Road was arrested at 10:31 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and threatening in the second degree under the Domestic Violence Act.

Thursday, Jan. 5

• A 17 year-old was arrested at 9:22 p.m. and charged with possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana as a minor. The accused was processed and released to parental custody on a written promise to appear at Middletown Superior Court for Juvenile Matters.

Saturday, Jan. 7

• A 21 year-old woman of Obed Heights Road was arrested at 1:56 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, illegal possession of more than one-half ounce of marijuana but less than four ounces, and speeding.

• A 42 year-old man of Old Boston Post Road was issued a misdemeanor summons at 12:54 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while license or registration suspension and failure to obey a traffic control signal following a motor vehicle stop on Boston Post Road at Elm Street.

Monday, Jan. 9

• A 50 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 1:57 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.

• A 16 year-old was arrested at 2:10 p.m. and charged with being a minor in possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana. In the same incident an 18 year-old was charged with possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana and use or possession of marijuana on Boston Post Road at Stage Road.

Tuesday, Jan. 10

• A 28 year-old Deep River man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 7:24 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident), and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway following a motor vehicle stop on East Street.

• A 51 year-old Madison man was issued a citation at 5:35 p.m. for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana, and use or possession of drug paraphernalia containing less than one-half ounce of marijuana following a motor vehicle stop on Boston Post Road at Route 154.
