The Valley Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Essex, Deep River, and Chester. • A 16 year-old man of River Road Drive was issued a citation at 4:42 p.m. for unsafe backing after the 2008 Chevy Silverado she was operating out of a driveway struck a 2007 Audi A6 on Prospect Street near North Main Street.

Saturday, Dec. 3

• A 55 year-old man of Fairview Street in Ivoryton was arrested at 2:34 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct, interfering with an emergency 911 call, and assault in the third degree. He was processed on a $1,500 bond.

Sunday, Dec. 4 to Tuesday, Dec. 6

No arrests were made.
