Police Incident Report for Nov. 30 to Dec. 13

Madison

Wednesday, Nov. 30

No arrests were made.

• A 50 year-old man of Sandlewood Drive was issued a misdemeanor summons at 6:40 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident), and making an improper turn.

• A theft of items from a motor vehicle was investigated at 36 Flintlock Road at 6:04 a.m.

• A theft of items from a motor vehicle was investigated at 193 Hunters Trail at 11:09 a.m.

• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 57 Dream Lake Drive at 11:40 a.m.

Thursday, Dec. 1

• A 38 year-old woman of Christopher Lane was arrested at 6:44 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and risk of injury to a minor.

• A 23 year-old man of Sandlewood Drive was arrested at 11:22 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct, threatening in the second degree, and criminal attempt to commit assault in the second degree.

• A 28 year-old man of Scotland Road was issued a misdemeanor summons at 2:43 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and failure to wear a seat belt in the front seat.

• A stray dog was captured on Opening Hill Road near Durham Road and placed in the animal shelter at 2:35 p.m.

• A domestic dispute was investigated on Sandlewood Drive at 8:30 a.m.

Friday, Dec. 2

No arrests were made.

• A motor vehicle accident without injuries was investigated on Durham Road at Horse Pond Road at 4:28 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 3

• A 49 year-old Killingworth woman was arrested at 10 a.m. and charged with breach of peace, threatening in the second degree, and carry a gun without a permit.

• A 35 year-old East Windsor man was arrested at 9:29 p.m. and charged with breach of peace and strangulation in the third degree.

• Harassment was investigated at 231 Green Hill Road at 8:41 a.m.

• A domestic dispute was investigated on Rock Ledge Drive at 7:12 p.m.

• A domestic dispute was investigated on West Wharf Road at 9:11 p.m.

• A motor vehicle accident without injuries was investigated on Boston Post Road at Durham Road at 10:29 p.m.

Sunday, Dec. 4

No arrests were made.

• Harassment was investigated on Alex Drive at 11:19 a.m.

• A motor vehicle accident on private property was investigated at 1347 Boston Post Road at 11:31 a.m.

• A theft of items from a motor vehicle was investigated at 70 Wildcat Springs Drive a 2:34 p.m.

• A theft of items from a motor vehicle was investigated a 203 Boston Post Road at 10:27 p.m.

Monday, Dec. 5

• Neighbor trouble was investigated at 109 River Road at 10:21 a.m.

• A motor vehicle accident on private property was investigated at 136 Samson Rock Drive at 8:05 p.m.

Wednesday, Dec. 7

• A 55 year-old Clinton man was arrested at 6:53 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident), and failure to obey a stop sign following a motor vehicle crash on Duck Hole Road near New Road.

• An animal nuisance was investigated on the 600 block of Green Hill Road at 11:11 a.m.

• A theft was investigated at 85 Madison Springs Drive at 2:15 p.m.

• A missing adult report was investigated at 551 Green Hill Road at 5:45 p.m.

• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 307 Neck Road at 4:25 p.m.

Thursday, Dec. 8

No arrests were made.

• A domestic dispute was investigated on the 1300 block of Boston Post Road at 3:01 p.m.

• Harassment was investigated at police head quarters via a walk-in complainant at 1:33 p.m.

Friday, Dec. 9

No arrests were made.

• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 21 Boston Post Road at 1:52 p.m.

• Threatening was investigated at 149 Durham Road at 4:20 p.m.

• A motor vehicle accident on private property was investigated at 613 Boston Post Road at 7:19 p.m.

• Threatening was investigated at 50 Brantwood Drive at 11:10 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 10

No arrests were made.

• An animal nuisance was investigated at 257 Copse Road at 12:21 p.m.

• A motor vehicle accident on private property was investigated at 136 Samson Rock Drive a 1:24 p.m.

• A report of a missing adult was investigated at 49 Quail Run at 8:41 p.m.

• A motor vehicle accident without injuries was investigated on Hammonasset Connector and Boston Post Road at 3:28 p.m.

Tuesday, Dec. 13

• A brush fire was reported at 217 Devonshire Lane at 6:02 a.m.

• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 48 Bower Road at 5:44 p.m.

Killingworth

Wednesday, Nov. 30 to Friday, Dec. 2

Saturday, Dec. 3

No arrests were made.

• A one-vehicle accident was investigated on Pond Meadow Road at 4:48 p.m. A 51 year-old man of Jacob Lane was operating a 2008 Harley-Davidson motorcycle southbound on Pond Meadow Road near Cranberry Meadow Road when he lost control of the vehicle on the leaf-covered shoulder and spun out. The operator was transported to Middlesex Hospital for evaluation of minor injuries sustained in the crash. No enforcement action was indicated in the trooper’s report.

Sunday, Dec. 4 to Monday, Dec. 5

Tuesday, Dec. 6

No arrests were made.

• A motor vehicle accident was investigated at the Route 80 commuter parking lot. Between 6:40 and 9:15 p.m. an unknown vehicle struck a 2011 Honda CR-Z that was parked an unoccupied. The offending drive fled the scene without reporting the accident.

Wednesday, Dec. 7 to Saturday, Dec. 10

No arrests were made.

Sunday, Dec. 11

No arrests were made.

• A theft of a motor vehicle was investigated at 6:35 p.m. at 134 Cow Hill Road. Between 3 and 6:15 p.m. a white Honda Accord bearing Connecticut registration plate 951 WFK was taken from the driveway.

• A motor accident was investigated on Route 81 near Firetower Road at 6:43 p.m. A 44 year-old Rocky Hill woman was operating a 2001 Toyota Tundra northbound on Route 81 when she lost control of the vehicle in snowy conditions and spun out. A 40 year-old Hartford woman, who was operating a 2006 Lexus RX 330 behind the Toyota, steered to avoid a collision and drove into a ditch along the right shoulder. The operator of the Lexus complained of minor pain to her chest and right ankle. She was transported to Middlesex Hospital for evaluation. No other injuries were reported or observed. No enforcement action was indicated in the trooper’s report.

Monday, Dec. 12

No arrests were made.

• A 22 year-old Higganum man was issued a citation at 6:24 a.m. for failure to drive right after he lost control of the 2006 Chevrolet Silverado and struck a metal rope guardrail located off the right shoulder. No injuries were reported or observed.

Tuesday, Dec. 13
