Police Incident Report for Nov. 23 to 29

Madison

Wednesday, Nov. 23

No arrests were made.

• A 73 year-old Guilford man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 3:40 p.m. for speeding at over 60 miles per hour on a secondary road.

• A motor vehicle accident with injuries was investigated on Durham Road at Cross Road at 12:45 a.m.

• Criminal mischief on private property was investigated at 73 Silo Hill Road at 6:41 p.m.

• A motor vehicle accident in private property was investigated at 87 Surf Club Road at 9:46 p.m.

Thursday, Nov. 24

No arrests were made.

• An appliance fire was reported at 37 Dudley Lane at 9:40 a.m.

• An appliance fire was reported at 87 Sandlewood Drive at 6:17 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 25

No arrests were made.

• A 44 year-old New Canaan man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 10:10 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, failure to wear a seat belt in the front seat, and failure to return a driver’s license after it was suspended.

• An applicant fire was reported at 115 Winding Road at 1 p.m.

• A psychiatric emergency was reported on Nathans Lane at 1:34 p.m.

• Harassment was investigated on the 300 block of Summer Hill Road at 1:31 p.m.

• A burglary was investigated at 4 School Street at 4:30 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 26

No arrests were made.

• A 26 year-old Westbrook man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9:04 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, improper use of marker plate, and failure to wear a seat belt in the front seat.

• A 48 year-old East Haven woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 12:46 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, failure to wear a seat belt in the front seat, and failure to signal a turn.

• Neighbor trouble was investigated on Fawn Brook Circle at 9:17 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 27

No arrests were made.

• A motor vehicle accident without injuries was investigated at 734 Boston Post Road at 5:38 p.m.

• A psychiatric emergency was reported on Dover Lane at 9:37 p.m.

Monday, Nov. 28

No arrests were made.

• A report of animal bites was investigated at 4 Academy Street at 2:02 p.m.

• A theft was investigated at 137 Squires Road at 3:36 p.m.

• A complaint about an unwanted person or persons was investigated at 613 Boston Post Road at 8:24 p.m.

Tuesday, Nov. 29

No arrests were made.

• A motor vehicle accident involving an animal was investigated at 74 Quail Run Road at 6:03 p.m.

• Harassment was investigated on the 200 block of Green Hill Road at 8:46 a.m.

• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 837 Boston Post Road at 9:55 a.m.

• A motor vehicle accident in which the offending driver evaded the scene was investigated in front of 36 Scotland Road at 7:07 p.m.

• A structure fire was reported at 16 Wall Street at 6:10 p.m.

• A theft was investigated on Bradley Road near Wall Street at 10:55 p.m.

Killingworth

Wednesday, Nov. 23 to Friday, Nov. 25

No arrests were made.

Saturday, Nov. 26

No arrests were made.

• A motor vehicle accident was investigated on Chittenden Road at 3:28 a.m. An unidentified person was operating s 2001 Mitsubishi Endeavor northbound on Chittenden Road near Green Hill Road when the operator lost control of the vehicle and struck a utility pole. The operator, who was the lone occupant of the vehicle, was transported to Middlesex Hospital Shoreline Medical Clinic in Westbrook for treatment of minor injuries sustained in the crash. No enforcement action was indicated in the police report.

Sunday, Nov. 27

No arrests were made.

Monday, Nov. 28

No arrests were made.

• An 18 year-old man of Bar Gate Trail was issued a citation for traveling too fast for conditions after the lost control of the 2014 BMW 320i he was operating westbound on Route 80 near Hemlock Road in heavy rain conditions, spun out, and struck a traffic sign, No injuries were reported or observed.
