Police Incident Report for Sept. 28 to Nov. 8


The East Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Wednesday, Sept. 28

• A 33 year-old New Haven homeless man was arrested at 12:36 p.m. and charged with harassment in the second degree, criminal violation of a restraining order, and threatening in the second degree. He was processed on a $10,000 bond.

• A 31 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 3:51 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.

Thursday, Sept. 29

• A 26 year-old Trumbull woman was arrested at 8:55 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.

• A 37 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 9 a.m. and charged with criminal mischief in the first degree, criminal attempt to commit larceny in the third degree, and larceny in the sixth degree.

Friday, Sept. 30

• A 36 year-old man of David Drive was arrested at 9 a.m. and charged with four counts of criminal violation of a protective order.

• A 47 year-old Branford man was arrested at 11:01 a.m. and charged with illegal possession of narcotics and failure keep drug a drug in its original container following an investigation on Main Street and Forbes Place.

Saturday, Oct. 1

No arrests were made.

Sunday, Oct. 2

• A 34 year-old woman of Navarro Road was arrested at 10:27 p.m. and charged with possession of less than four ounces of marijuana, failure to have insurance, operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license, and failure to have tail lamps following a motor vehicle stop on North High Street at Corbin Road. She was processed on a $1,500 bond amount.

Monday, Oct. 3

• A 39 year-old man of Henry Street was arrested at 6:30 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct, assault in the third degree, threatening in the second degree. He was processed on a $5,000 bond amount.

• A 41 year-old Meriden man was arrested at 6:57 p.m. and charged with four counts of illegal possession of narcotics, three counts of illegal manufacture or distribution of drugs, three counts of failure to keep a drug in its original container, and traveling unreasonably fast. He was processed on a $25,000 bond amount.

• A 36 year-old man of Gerrish Avenue was arrested at 11:06 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway, operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license following a motor vehicle stop on Main Street at Pardee Place Extension.

• A 48 year-old woman of Silver Sands Road was arrested at 11:25 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol following a motor vehicle stop on Silver Sands Road at Jillson Drive North.

• A 36 year-old man of Gerrish Avenue was arrested at 11:41 p.m. and charged with criminal trespass in the first degree and breach in peace in the second degree.

Tuesday, Oct. 4

• A 45 year-old Torrington man was arrested at 3:25 a.m. and charged with criminal violation or protective order.

• A 43 year-old Torrington man was arrested at 3:25 a.m. and charged with criminal violation of a protective order.

• A 21 year-old woman of Park Street was arrested at 8:07 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.

• A 35 year-old West Haven man was arrested at 7:31 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.

Wednesday, Oct. 5

• A 26 year-old man of Branford Road was arrested at 8:28 a.m. and charged with violation of probation.

• A 51 year-old New Haven was arrested at 9 a.m. and charged with burglary in the third degree, criminal mischief in the first degree, larceny in the second degree, larceny in the third degree.

• A 26 year-old man of South Street was arrested at 9:03 p.m. and charged with interfering with a police officer, breach of peace in the second degree, interfering with an emergency call, assaulting third degree, and unlawful restraint in the second degree.

Thursday, Oct. 6

• A 36 year-old Guilford man was arrested at 2:17 a.m. and charged with violation of conditions of released in the first degree.

• A 26 year-old Wallingford man was arrested at 3:28 p.m. and charged with two counts of possession of narcotics and failure to keep a prescription drug in its original container.

Friday, Oct. 7

• A 44 year-old woman of Saltonstall Parkway was arrested at 1:43 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, traveling unreasonably fast, and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway.

Saturday, Oct. 8

No arrests were made.

Sunday, Oct. 9

• A 31 year-old man on unrecorded address was arrested at 12:20 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.

• A 27 year-old man of Vineyard Lane was arrested at 2:52 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and two counts of assault in the third degree.

• A 27 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 3:28 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, reckless driving, failure to bring a motor vehicle to a full stop, failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway, possession of marijuana, and use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

• A 33 year-old Branford man was arrested at 7:27 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.

Monday, Oct. 10

Tuesday, Oct. 11

• A 20 year-old man of George Street was arrested at 9 a.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree, assault in the third degree, threatening in the second degree, larceny in the second degree, and robbery in the third degree.

• A 30 year-old man of Birch Lane was arrested at 12:15 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.

• A 34 year-old man of unrecorded address was arrested at 3:29 p.m. and charge with three counts of violation of probation, assault in the third degree, reckless endangerment in the first degree, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Wednesday, Oct. 12

• A 41 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 2:34 a.m. and charged with larceny in the second degree, manufacture or possession of burglar’s tools, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving the wrong way on a one-way street, and operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license.

• A 34 year-old man of Crest Avenue was arrested at 3:23 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident), reckless driving, failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway, and failure to obey a stop sign.

• A 25 year-old man of Main Street was arrested at 7:43 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.

• A 21 year-old man of Prospect Place was arrested at 9:37 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree and assault in the third degree.

Thursday, Oct. 13

• An 18 year-old man of Stonegate Circle was arrested at 7:35 a.m. and charged with two counts of breach of peace in the second degree, threatening in the first degree, and threatening in the second degree.

Friday, Oct. 14

• A 27 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 9 a.m. and charged with criminal violation of a protective order.

• A 55 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 11:41 a.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.

• A 32 year-old man of Thompson Street was arrested at 6:50 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear for a motor vehicle summons.

Saturday, Oct. 15

• A 29 year-old man of Birch Lane was arrested at 3:23 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.

Sunday, Oct. 16

• A 43 year-old homeless man was arrested at 2:45 p.m. and charged with larceny in the third degree and forgery in the third degree.
